@doc - Correct, its the ice bang light - the only difference between the light and the 500$+ version is the AR
-
Theres another easy way to fix this problem and you don't have to put any pad on the clasp..You need an H screwdriver to do this, but if you just flip the strap around it eliminates the problem all together (i.e. wear your watch backwards with the dial upside down and it will feel about the same as if you were to reverse the strap)

Victoria...Love that AP Looks very nice in rose gold, congrats on the new acquisition - mazel-tov! wear it in good health!

Starting the week off with the ice bang
-
Thanks guys! @yello - I would highly recommend this watch, its the best looking HBB around IMO
-
The rotor has the decal/sticker but I think it looks better than that engraved one
-
I was really excited for this one, and what made it even better was that it came on a Sunday...I think thats a first for me! Well, here it is..The ice bang light and man this watch is a BEAUTY!! The way this watch is finished is really incredible! The PVD on the case and the clasp has a sheen and polished finish and the dial and bezel are gorgeous! The black datewheel and the all silver hands is a really nice touch which I think sets this particular model apart from all the other HBB's...I have a ceramic polished bezel on the way from angus and I might see how it looks on the ice but i'll probably end up putting it on my PVD lite..Anyways, I have promised a bunch of people pics so here they are! wrist shot: And heres the genuine 1st generation ice bang with the tantalum bezel
-
Having trouble getting a decent wrist shot but heres something I just captured
-
I have an olympus 7.1 megapixel, still learning how to use it.Thanks for the advice freddy, sounds like I should get a tripod asap..and great pictures of a great watch!
-
Yes I have, but thanks for the link! I am capable of taking a pretty decent shot when the watch is stationary and off my wrist, but it never comes out good when I attempt a wrist shot This is my best effort
-
Hey guys and gals, I am always seeing these killer wrist shots from members and always asking myself how do they do it? I usually just put my camera into super macro mode, put the camera on a flat surface and point and shoot but always get mediocre results...Are there any tips or tricks or techniques to taking a quality wrist shot?

The Zigmeister, I might have an answer to your question...Is this exclusively in the HBB's? If so, It kind of looks like they made a half a$$ attempt to copy hublots new in house movement? I could very well be wrong tho..It kinda looks like they tried to make the plates and bridges look like tungsten.. -
Very nice! This is a very accurate rep!

Anyone noticed? TWP's HBB with engraved Rotor!
UB7 replied to ajoesmith's topic in General Discussion
Mickey is right, the engraved rotor looks incorrect unfortunately and that one looks even less like the gen...I'd say the sticker or decal on the other 1's are way better and look more like the real thing..the letters on the rotor are supposed to be black, unless the special editions have different rotors heres a pic i found on timezone -
Wearing my TWP 111h on a bleach brown calf which turned into a nice light tan - inspired by hike's recent project 'plume' - hard to get a decent shot its much more vibrant in person
-
Nice! Can't wait to see it - I'm really liking how the band looks and the case and dial look solid

Got the swiss army about 9 years ago as a present..It's actually a pretty nice watch just very small @Fxrandy - In NY we have a points system..Non moving violations like a tail light and stuff like you just pay a fine and no points get put on your license...A speeding ticket ( a moving violation) depending on how fast you were going is usually 3 points, you are allowed up to 12 points and than your license gets suspended and the points get erased every 18 months I believe..I have a clean slate- -0 points on my license, this is my first ticket in about 7 years
-
Corgi - I already know the outcome of the ticket it will most definitely be dropped to a non moving violation and i'll have to pay a $50-100$ fine and thats it, believe me Corgi I too have little patience for people who break traffic laws after all(trying to be vague here because this is a replica watch forum) I do work in the criminal justice system but unfortunately, my M3 is a cop magnet - Not saying i'm high and mighty and get away with it but I was only going 8mph over the 65mph speed limit..here in NY going 10 over the speed limit to keep up with the flow of traffic (if your on a major highway) is 'acceptable' but i-95 just happens to be the biggest speed trap in the US
-
on the bottom row is the gen movado, swiss army, then the one you pointed out is a bulova..thanks for the opinions guys!
-
- these are my options, im going for a very minor speeding ticket
-
Hey all, I need some opinions on what watch I should wear to traffic court - my frankenjust or my 111H? This is the outfit i am planning on wearing
-
No it wasnt the same strap..I did it on some cheap brown leather calf strap i got off ebay for 20 bucks, im quite happy with the results thanks Hike! ..How can I make it softer, where can I get that leather stuff, any car part store?
-
yello - There is absolutely no difference between the ice bang light, and the ice bang for 500$+ except the AR - the bezel is indentical - theres no ceramic bezel on the ice bang for 500$ so i'm having a hard time figuring out why its so much more expensive than the lite...How ever for the black magic there is a difference, the more expensive one indeed has a ceramic bezel and double AR were as the black magic lite has a PVD bez w/ no AR..My ice bang lite should be here anyday i'll post pics, I also have a ceramic polished bezel from angus which I might put on the ice Take a look, heres the ICE bang for 500$+ And heres the light, as you can see the bezel is identical, no ceramic
-
Well Hike, you inspired me to do my own strap bleaching project...pretty much followed your directions but after bleaching it I scrubbed it with a tootbrush for 20 minutes and than sanded the edges...Take a look
-
I don't think the ones from the previous run had this problem..maybe its centered a tiny bit to the right but from a far its not as noticeable..what do you think lello?
