  1. I think this is great that other dealers are offering these watches, competition amongst dealers is good for us consumers..I guess we should all stop speculating, lets just wait till a member gets 1 and reviews it and than we can be certain that these are the real deal...They look good to me, and if they accept gen parts than its well worth the $, I will be buying one from Andrew as soon as a member reviews one
  2. Very nice stilty!! Enjoy it, did you have any problems with that gen overlay? Were did you pick that up? Take a look at my vintage gen, yours looks identical - In fact I like yours better w/ the updated dial looks awesome!
  3. Very nice I like the numerals, enjoy that beauty! What is that your 7th BCE? Just kidding
  4. Errrr....Trying to get the stem and crown back into a ETA 2836-2 movement, I think I recessed the stem release too much and the stem will not click back into the keyless works....I searched the forum and came up with nothing, anyone know how to fix this problem without taking apart the movt? I was reading 1 thread I found and someone said that theres a few tricks for getting it unjammed? Does anyone have any advice for me?
  5. Very nice! Really like the linen dial but isn't that an oyster band? Doesn't look like a jub

Thanks for the great info toad..I agree, the dial is amazing but the lume isn't that good..Theres a set of dials right now on fleabay...2 gen dials starting @ 30 bucks, both in really good condition...I'm debating, probably going to just get a gen tube and crown and make that my first mod - mabye ill get a new date wheel from cousins UK, do you know if their 7750 wheels have the right font? interesting info on the waterproof abilities of this watch, it seems to be good in the shower but thats probably the wettest i'll allow it to get, thanks again
  7. We have snow on the ground here upstate, I decided to end my night with a nice little fire and a baileys + hot chocolate...

Thats a great story anto! Does anyone know if a gen dial will fit in this case?
  9. Awesome job tribal, I am looking to do the same mods to my SSD...So you needed to drill a tap in order to fit the gen tube? It didn't thread into the case? Also, is that a gen crown you have fitted? Good stuff man, wear it in good health!

Thanks BT - Yes the build of this watch is phenomenal and I am in love with this band its super comfy! The reason I got the watch was because of its size - It was between this and a UPO and the UPO is a little to big for my wrists - The SMP on the other hand is the perfect size...The pictures don't do the watch justice, its hard to capture the wavy pattern but at certain angles the dial looks simply spectacular...This watch is definitely going to be getting some serious wrist time! Does a gen tube thread into the case OK? Is it pretty much a clean swap for the gen crown and tube?

Thanks lan ! @urabus - Nope I didn't touch the bezel, it came aligned perfectly
  12. I have a number of asian 7750 watches...3 daytonas, a BCE, a SMP chrono all work/start/reset perfectly, I guess i've had pretty good luck with these watches because ive had no problems so far (knock on wood)

Thanks guys! Heres some more pics of the band and caseback
  14. Just got this today and i'm really loving it..The build quality of this watch is superb, from the crisp pushers and bezel to the dial which is outstanding...The wavy pattern looks really magnificent when it catches the light. The finish of the bracelet is nice with good engravings, and its very comfortable on the wrist. This is the first non screwdown pusher watch ive owned, and I must say I like the functionality aspect of it - I'm used to daytonas and BCE's which all require unscrewing the pusher to use the chrono..The only question I have for others is how this watch is in the water? Overall this is a great rep and I would highly recommend it to others...The crown seems to be operating smoothly at the moment but it will be eventually replaced by a gen tube and crown in the not so distant future...Here are some pics:
  15. Heres a few pics of my new SMP chrono, really diggin' it
  16. True rolexman, but that can be fixed later down the road...I find that the single AR looks pretty good on my white dial - Maybe i'll send the glass out in chieftang or k2's AR run - that'd make it even better , but i'm really excited about the silver hands and lello DW
  17. I think trusty has some ultimates in stock, not 100% certain tho...I know he has the 1st gen's, thats what I bought from him..I have silver hands on the way to replace the black hands, along with a lello DW - So after all thats installed I will have an even more "Ultimate" BCE than what dealers are selling
  18. Got the bracelet lookin' nice and new with a dremel/rouge..Getting silver hands for this baby soon
  19. Very nice! Wear it in the best of health my friend!
  20. @nelly - Is that a gen??? I never knew they made a gen w/ black hands...
  21. @Baron - The BCE is 1st generation single AR / black hands / best version white dial (IMO) - From Andrew @ trustytime
  22. yes, if anyone has pics of their BCE w/ lello's wheel i'd love to see it...
  23. Got it done! Bracelet looks just like new, thanks lan! Ill get a better pic in the daylight tomorrow but the bracelet looks immaculate after polishing with rouge on dremel and than capecod..
