  1. I just drooled on my keyboard...Nice watches mate
  2. It's not the L thats off, its the O...I used to be part of TRF and they are crazy about making this distinction...That dial has what is known as a "lazy O" - Apparently they are more rare than the normal dials
  3. Yes I just got off the phone with watchbuff and thats apparently exactly the issue yelloman...Seller jewelerstools on eBay has them for 30 bucks including shipping thats your best bet... edit: after talking with a few people, jewelerstools has apparently sent many wrong crowns to people in the past
  4. Look in the 1st picture right below the permabond, thats what cubic works sells...Im not sure if it needed filing but it does have a pretty good font
  5. Inbox is full vince, call me if you have a sec or msg me..and btw the watch looks amazing im very impressed with your skills Datewheel is from cubic-works listeve, the only thing used from that donor watch was the clasp from the band, I got that rep dj for like $60 it has the worst datewheel ive ever seen and miyoto movt. its actually quite amusing
  6. I cant wait to get this puppy back keep me updated vince so I can send out your 2nd money order...Im really excited about this watch its gonna be my new daily beater..Really psyched you were able to transplant the clasp from the rep dj onto the jubilee - now I dont have to rush to get myself a gen band - I can get one off ebay when the price is right - other than that it looks great man, the datewheel was a success!
  7. Looking very good Vince, glad the datewheel worked out and also really excited you were able to switch the clasps for me it looks freakin awesome!!! Lookin good this will come together nicely =)

    Straps

Hey vic you have an awesome strap collection!! Would you willing to sell that beautiful Strapmasters Cognac? If not, what site did you pick that up off?
  17. UPDATE OCT 24TH - Still waiting for the hands, crown and band but here are the pics so far
  18. Completely agree with everything thats been said ...In the collectors section, and on sites that sell the watches I think just normal light box pictures with no photoshop is mandatory..I mean we want to see the exact product we are getting not a photoshopped pic...But for wrist shots, reviews, showing off and stuff like that I think that photoshop is great...I've been trying to teach myself PS tips since I joined, and also the camera(and ps) tutorials are phenomenal(jiro)...The quality of pictures when I first joined don't hold a candle to the quality of pics I post now...Thanks RWG!!
  19. Very sorry about your loss, will say a prayer for him and his family
  20. Thats funny - a coworker sent this to me last week and i was cracking up - this guys hilarious
  21. I have 2 daytona's from andrew and I believe him and silix get them from the same factory...One of my favorite watches and have had no problems with the val77 movement so far ::knock on wood::
