In addition to the size, I think the bezel also has alot to do with it...Looks very sporty...Great side by side comparison, the 2 best colors of both watches, and I do like the aquaracer alot in that color too~

I keep comparing it to my avatar and I like the daytona 2 tone a lot more...I mean I like the watch in all other colors but this 1 is almost too sporty of a watch to be worn in 2 tone were as the daytona is classy and a little sporty, i really dont think I'd be able to pull it off for some reason...Im impartial I guess... How is the quality of these inserts? I see all of these 'after market' inserts which are obviouly not gen but it seems like these are the only thing available on ebay? Are these aftermarket inserts more accurate than lets say the stock noob insert?

This is a very informative/interesting article...What intrigues me is that I was an accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers for 4 years when I was living in NYC and knew nothing about this so called audit, how ever at the time I was working with PWC I was not into watches as much as I am these days...I guess the audit was done very discretely on the down low...Very interesting read, thanks for posting it! I guess this answers the question as to why the daytona is the most overpriced watch out there!

I especially love how he references to complete scam sites and quotes the price from the scam site as the watches true "Estimated Value"...This guy is selling a freakin turn-o-graph for 700$ LOL...I dont know but something smells really fishy about this guy's site...I would steer clear...Ill wait for one of our trusted collectors to get these and than mabye i'll buy one if the price is right..

Hey guys, figured I might as well ask before I walk over to my equipment / storage house on my farm and actually commence. But what are some methods of shaving the CG, specifically on my sub...I have 2 wheels which I use to sharpen/buff my knives, and equipment and when you dont apply wax to the wheel it can grind down and sharpen metal pretty well, ive crafted tons of knives on this wheel and it works excellent when done properly, i've been doing it for years so I am pretty competent in using the thing, how ever in terms of precision its probbably not as good as a simple dremel. Curious to see if any members have some tips for me, what do you use as a guideline to how much should be shaved off? Any tips, tricks, methods I should be aware of before I start? I have 3 daytonas, 2 with the modded 7750 and have had no problems so far, 1 of them is relatively new and the other ive had for close to 6 months and it varies within +/- 4 seconds which is pretty dam good. Excellent write up on the movements, hats off~

I couldnt agree more with you bytor...I've owned many gens and still do, and I actually had my fathers gen full gold datejust from the 80's and posted pics on TRF and got nothing but pompus, snyde remarks from their members...Than I found this community and people are much nicer and a all around a much better atmosphere here...AD this, AD that is all you hear on those forums and its quite pathetic how they think owning a gen rolex makes you the $h!t...Theyre not accepting of new members over there, if they see that you have below 50 posts theyll treat you with no respect and assume every watch you post is fake..Ill never post on their pompus site again...Hope I didnt offend anyone, just my 2 cents...
