what is exactly the difference italiano? Whats different between the ultimate than the 1st gen? i am looking to make the purchase tonight and if it comes down to spending an extra 40 bux to get the ult from andrew theres no sense in trying to save 30-50 bux...does anyone have wrist shots of the graphite dial?

Looking to buy a chronomat evo, which vendor has the cheapest one with the 7750 working chronos w/ AR, the cheapest ive found is 250 shipped, does anyone have it cheaper than that? Thanks in advance~

cg's look identical to what andrew and josh have, heres a quick side by side with mine on the left, however my movt looks different, it has daytona in red around the mid screw

It certainly wouldnt hurt to ask, but on 1 of my daytonas the crown wouldnt spring out to the winding position it just screwed back down instead of winding..So I told him that I would take a credit towards future purchase and he said (from email) "my prices are firm, because my prices are the best" which in all honesty they are pretty freakin good. This was also my 6th or so watch from him, i ended up sending it back and hes fixing it for free of course because it came like that - but yea - doesnt hurt to ask tho - i just dont understand whats wrong with your watch? it just doesnt have a stamp on it? My noobmarine from him didnt either and i was kinda dissapointd because i look at every1 elses and they have stamping but no1 will ever see that rotor except you so who really cares? If it is indeed the right ETA just w/ no markings its def. not worth it due to customs...Just my 2 cents - im sure youll have many good times with taht watch its built suprisingly tough as far as reps go!

Looks indentical to andrew and josh's daytona for $250 and change...Worse IMOP the movement in mine from andrew says daytona around the center screw like the real deal...Your willing to paying an extra 700$ for a better crown guard? No way in hell get one from andrew or josh...

i would send it back sounds like a faulty watch, my noobmariner is my most waterproof watch it withstands any amount of water stock...

I have the same exact watch from the same dealer and although it doesnt wind both ways, it does have a quick-set date change feel, it flicks over right @ 12 and changes very quick...I took the back off and i noticed many differences from other peoples noobmariners...the rotor is all silver and doesnt have rolex on it like others, kinda disapointed me..however the feel of the wind is def a 21j, when you wind the watch side by side with a 28bph you def. can feel the difference, a 28bph seems to be much firmer and more solid like bytor said, and gives a little more resistance when winding...do you have any other higher bph watches to put it next too and see? im curious if you have the time to open up the back and take pics id like to see if its the same as mine which was purchased about 3 weeks ago...enjoy your new watch its a good 1 and the thing is great in water ive went swimming, showering and all and the thing holds up like a champ

Interesting...My gen aquaracer chrono 2000 (w/out day) has a textured much brighter blue dial...i always assumed the dial was the same with the daydate, gues not? Anyways, great pics seems like a close to flawless rep...

Besides trustytime and silix...And besides the bay, are there any sites that you guys reccomend for gen parts (rolex in specific, and panerai). I would love to get a gen dial for my datejust, and a gen dial/crown for my 005...Thanks guys! -David

It might not be the most reliable chrono(so far so good for my 2, no probs with either of em, but I certainly think in terms of style the daytona takes the cake!

I have 3 daytonas repaustria, 2 from andrew w/ working chronos sec@6 and 1 with nonworking chrono's except the running secs works in sync with the main second hand, its quite wierd actually...thanks for the input i will stay away from that auction somones gotta outbid me for 3.25 or i guess im stuck with payin 3.25 but thats not too big of a deal, mabye i put it in the daytona w/ non working chronos and they work, mabye not and im out 3.25 - thanks again guys much appreciated i was gona offer that guy a decent amount of money if it had your guys approval but i hapen to agree with what every1 has said - i havent bought somthing off ebay in 3 years i signed up for new acct wen i saw this auction so i could contact the seller

Rc, what do you mean, but only saw the rotor, ill notice a huge dif? Looking at the rotor compared to gen? yeh there are no slivers cut out were it says montres rolex on the scamers rotor

You make a very good point about selling it whole for alot of $, doesnt make sense to just sell the movt and dial, unless its stolen or fell off the back of a truck or somthin like that...You guys rock, saved me a couple hundred bucks , thanks guys!!!! however, altho its hard to tell from those crappy pics, the dial looks to be gen- at least the subdial spacing looks right...but if it has a fake movt that its gota have a fake dial

Thanks guys, if youre all right than i thank you thank you thank you for saving me some $, would like to hear some other opinions on this 1 before i walk away...hmm, the movt doesnt look too far off the above pic...the fact that the seller is reputable and has good feedback makes me think that its still real...but i will take your guys word for it i dont know much about movements...

The movt looks wrong? Looks similar to whats in my daytona from andrew...The subdial spacing is right on, and the seller having immaculate feedback maeks me think its real...If I can drive over and see it in person before I buy it, i cant possibly lose out on this one...Seller is going to email me clear pics of front and back ill post them

I will post pics wen I get it, before i send out the m.o. cause I already came to a price agreement with the seller I would like to hear what you guys think Altho the pics are blurry, the subdial spacing is right and the back of the movt looks right too so I can only assume its real...And the fact that the seller has all great feedback makes me think its real aswel. Seller lives 1 hr from me, I told him i'd drive over with cash and he said i can look at it first, seems like a win/win
