  1. Looks great. Can't wait for mine. Fabulous contrast to my franken ti Chrono Avenger. I was curious - how good is the lume? I had relumed my ti when I saw the gen and I am wondering if I should do it on that one. After all, Lume looks fabulous under a double AR coat.
  2. I agree on a couple of points of difference but we will never know until someone posts additional pictures. I ordered this one from Angus and I am glad I did.
  3. Good one. How about proper 70's datewheel for MyBestWatches or WickedMystical Watches. I don't think I would go for Luckyy watches though.
  4. TJ- Great to catch up. You know I am going to find a way to take advantage of your "speedboat offer".
  5. Pho- So sorry to hear that. As I told you I keep a place down there but get down infrequently. On the brighter side I did manage to catch up with TJ and Marrick up here. I'll PM you next time I am headed down there.
  6. Angus- It looks great. Can't wait for my chronomat. You are doing everyone here a great service.
  7. There is another method to identify MBW - ask Ubi. By the way, is the 1680 mine or one of yours?
  8. Yes it is relevant for all 7750's. On the chrono reset issue usually Ziggy glues some or all of the hands (I don't remember) to ensure proper reset.
  9. V- Looks great. Wear it well. Kruz
  10. Too funny. I would bet money the one above is genuine.
  11. jonthebhoy- I am listening. And I understand that no one is looking to resolve this prematurely. My simple premise is people can make up their own minds as to whether someone buys from someone else. The Admin and mods absolutely make the final decision as to what goes on here (although the number of dealer pieces being offered is declining here ergo your only penalty can be to throw them off the forum) and I am trying to provide you with real (action-oriented) feedback. IMHO, the issue isn't "people shouldn't lie". I don't think there is anyone who would disagree with that. The question is what do you want to do about it. I find that people on these forums often "talk smack", to use a euphemism from my teenage son, until they have to make a real decision which impacts them. The mods will make their own decision but the forum member input really boils down to keep the dealers on the forum, toss them on the forum or allow them to remain on the forum with reasonable conditions. Am I missing something? Oh I guess you could ban for some period of time or until their descriptions satisfy whoever is the description police. But as I said at the beginning of this post there is no reason to rush.
  12. Isn't that true about life. How many times have I cursed my 100 year old house. Everything is twice as expensive and difficult to get.
  13. Try Homer via PM. He is very prompt. I got one today.
  14. PAM 194. Just doesn't do it for me. I have always regreted buying a rep which is made out of the wrong metal.
  15. Looks good to me but I am not an Omega expert.
  16. Finepics- Be forewarned, the temperature is going to be all over the pace from a high in the 40's to a low in the high teens - fahrenheit that is.
  17. jontheboy- You are right that well thought out arguments are valuable but you are also right that it is a limited number of folks (myself included) making multiple posts. I would welcome additional input from experienced members (hey, what the heck noobs too ). But at the end of the day the best way to get the membership's opinion is to run an anonymous poll with whatever the various options are. If the mods are considering other options and they want democratic membership feedback they could list any other options they are considering and then the membership could give accurate input as to what their thoughts are on the next action, if any. In the end the administration will have to decide what to do. All we can do is give them our thoughts and accurately tell them how the membership feels. Vote. Kruz
