  1. I was curious as to the issues as well. I do love the proper use of dial based cyclops on the more expensive versions.
  2. If you are talking about the one with running seconds at 12 you run a high risk of movement issues irrespective of the dealer. That movement has a very poor track record as it wasn't designed for that particular manipulation. It requires substantially more power than the movement can generate so the liklihood of longevity is substantially lower. PT has excellent reviews here though.
  3. What are you guys talking about? It works fine for me. Timing is everything.
  4. I give. Having wasted hours trying to figure it out I still can't ake pictures of a watch on my wrist with this camera. I would like to get a reasonably priced dedicated close-up lens for shooting watches. Which one should I get?
  5. Neil- I am sorry to hear you were ill but at least some good came out of it. I do hope other dealers will aspire to achieve the same level of transparency and disclosure. I look forward to your upcoming offerings. Frankly, I always had concerns about the 15 day no tracking approach. I always got what I ordered from you in good shape but it was a huge mystery when it was coming.
  6. No problems. Just have to write a description and get organized.
  7. Those aren't blood diamonds - blood fugazy's. Not my cup of tea. Still trying to get my wife to wear the diamond AP.
  8. Fabulous piece. I wonder which movement is better made? The tudor or the gen Omega?
  9. So what was the story on the hour sub-dial?
  10. I am more partial to the successor - aquanaut. Oh, wait a minute this is about the Nautilus.
  11. My latest: 7753 Panda in old case with Finepics datewheel and matte sprayed dial:
  12. You clearly got a bad one. And Josh is doing the right thing (as he has always done with me) and replacing it.
  13. You need the bell bottoms to go with it. Ubi- Do you still have it?
  14. Enjoy it. I am preparing to give in on a 45.5 mm. I am told that one takes the gen rubber strap.
  15. I would add that although I do not own any Davidsen's of more than 20 PAM's, only two of the 20 or so PAM's I have had a subsequent thread stripping issue. And neither were new. I always wondered how the owners changed straps.
  16. For those who have early PAM's and want to upgrade do it now. Once Jimmy rubs there will be no more.
  17. My favorites change everyday: Yin and Yang: the Ubi Daytona (and it works properly) Ziggified Vintage MBW's with proper datewheel: White SD and Red Sub (no pics as they are with Ubi and Ziggy, respectively, awaiting their new datewheels) And finally, franken ti Avenger (not my pic): But that will change.
