  1. As people have suggested start with the original gasket before reworking anything.
  2. When it comes to a guy with 3 feed backs you are definitely getting on a plane.
  3. Welcome. I would suggest you take a look a around and decide what brand and model you would like. Do a little research, ask a few questions, etc. In terms of the dealers we go to a fair amount of effort to provide great dealers. So all are subject to scrutiny by the admin and the membership. Many have reviews on product and service. And finally just ask if you are concerned. RWG is all about enhancing our hobby and just as importantly protecting the membership.
  4. Wow, can't wait to see it on the wrist. They have had that one in the window of the FM boutique I walk by and it is stunning.
  5. The one who listed it. Josh- Very nice piece.
  6. Edge was just trying to be helpful. And by the way unlike many of us he is at least willing to be the guinea pig and ordered one. My takeaway from his and Theo's posts is that we will get our better version and I don't care when and where it comes from. I look forward to it. Oh yes, and we are all impatient children. You can include me.
  7. A random unbranded cheap watch site.
  8. Actually in the video they used a world champion race car driver and a random test rider for Ducati. The horsepower to weight ratio is always just too much in favor of a bike. With my 98 ZZR1100 which you can now buy for $5k I can leave any car under $150k in the dust. Well, maybe not in winter time.
  9. If you are banned from there how do you know what is going on over there?
  10. I am on the side of the motorcycle. Anyone can drive a car. A motorcycle is a whole other story. Unfortunately no more track days for me. Those reflexes have slowed down just that tad too much.
  11. There is no point in bashing Prestige watch co here. The dealer is not here to defend himself. Personally I have bought a watch from him with no problems. But as you can tell just from this thread there are enough folks who were unhappy on this forum that he is not a registered dealer at RWG. If you are buying from him you are buying at another forum where I am sure there are plenty of reviews for people to make up their own minds.
  12. Thanks for the info. I guess I will have to start checking the dealer sites. Needless to say, Edge please post pics as soon as you get it.
  13. I suspect someone is going to be doing a lot of tanning for the next 5 years.
  14. For what it is worth - here is an older gen. Don't know if it helps. And here is an MBW franken:
  15. Thanks for the link. Some interesting info there.
  16. Just read through this thread. Am I reading correctly that we are already up to a V2 and the decision is whether to buy that one or wait for the noobfactory?
  17. I say skip generations. Pick up 1680 and a ceramic version.
  18. I second the PAM 250. Beautifully done piece needing little to no modding. My second choice would be an AP.
  19. I can't even remember who shot him never mind his background and I live down the street.
  20. Can't wait to see that boutique case back.
  21. Nanuq- That must have been fun. Did you find any additional info via email?
