To answer your question , as far as I am aware no lemania/venus/ST19 speedmasters have be made commercially available by our trusted dealers that have seconds frozen at 6. Andrew has a nice example here Watch Eden has a few here By- tor's Broad Arrow is one of the best examples here You really have 2 choices either get a Manual wind version and have a watch maker freeze the 6 which could be expensive and hard to do or go quartz Hope that helps

Yes my Dsn does have the sort of correct case back , but it doesn't have the original owners name on it. I think the new versions have some names on them. I wouldn't go down the $$$ route yet. Have a try of some better value versions first and see if you can live with them. Mine is an early version with a number of so called flaws but I try not to let them bother me and just enjoy it for what it is. Despite its inaccuracies compared to the original quality wise it is very good

Great project massive effort

It's a tough one, I've had a few services and repaired but the guy just basically got fed up working on my reps. It actually wouldn't of been a massive difference to buy new, which is a dreadful situation really but the reality. Unless its a really high value AP , or hublot , you might better get a new one and selling yours on for parts or repair. If your really attached to it sending overseas maybe the alternative.
