Ahhh.. I am also in the process of making one of my own Tan with black custom strap... PVD logo buckle, special leather hide etc etc.. We will see if the end result will be superior or not of the Dirk's.

Agree.. when you can have good quality CN movements at the fraction of the costs of the ETA what's the point to spend a lot? I prefer 2 watches with CN movement than 1 with the Swan neck.

DON has and Taikonaut have carbon straps. Also Strap-works has if I remember correct. I don;t suggest you get DON's. Very stiff and the inside side is a bit irritating to the skin..

It is from Paul - Aspire. Bought on the crazy sale era

All the watches I bought from Paul didn't had any quality problems. The SMP clasp only was broken and he sent me a new one immidiately.

Paul was always OK with me.. but his pp hate made me start buying from elsewhere. WU is not the easiest thing to do (and more expensive too). I don't have a trust issue with Paul and WU but even if pp are not the best in the world, it is a very easy way of paying. Watches I bought from Paul: Omega SMP, Rolex Sub, Rolex LV, 3 lady Rolex, my beautiful PAM 036, two PAM 029... Don't know if it's the same Paul buit the Old Paul was OK for me. (Although the 2 new PAM 029 were bought from Chris Lin and again happy with them)

The BEST strap for the 036 is the Metta Catharina. After this the reddish brown BOB vertigo strap. I had more than 20 straps for the 036 and after the Metta, the reddish brown buffalo strap is AMAZING...

You haven't told us for what watch you want it... I didn't had the chance to get the baseball till now, but I guess the cordovan as leather is better quality and undestructable.

Why someone wants to do professional diving with a replica? In those moments you don't trust your life just to a rep. As lagae says there are diving computers to do the job... But for swallow diving with a plastic mask there is no problem for the reps
