  1. Today I decided to wear my 112 on the XaMas replica strap Probably the weekend I will change to something different.
  2. Right now? Current 93 - They returned to their earth
  3. Well just thought something less expensive.. if you want I also have recommendations on the upper scale For example this new TOsc strap looks nice for it: or the Natale MP XII
  4. Yeap my Vintage will look nice with the brown dial.. The following two Panatime straps also look nice and not expensive (50$) http://panatime.com/26deoiledkbr.html there is also a darker version http://panatime.com/26xlsideoivi.html
  5. Thanks a lot my friend.. Next time I will be home you will see it in flesh and compare our 111 and 112
  6. Well what I can say? AMAZING. I am like you a Panerai fan but the Big Pilot will always be in my favourite top 3 watches Enjoy it my friend BTW it will also look good on a Zeugma strap
  7. Btw this post is one year old and rolli always wears his straps upside down because he thinks like that they are more comfortable

    ID Cards

In Greece we have ID cards from looooong time ago... nothing positive or negative happened. THey just exist and it is a pain in the ass to get a new one. BTW I issued a new one this year(I am now 31). My previous one had my details from when I was 14 (when I issued my first one). Photo of me 14 y.o. and height 1.65 (I am now 1.90)
  9. Andy.. I thought so that it may be extreme but the thicker it is the strap it works the same way as the bracelet works. If the holes are opened in the right position then it is MUCH more comfortable than the thinner straps because it doesnt pressure your wrist and the watch doesnt go around if loose. If you find a thick hide try it. You will remember me Of course the hide must be thick AND soft.. not like a Strapculture extra thick model that is like cardboard
  10. Well you know my opinion on this.. You shouldn't have sold your 112. Today my cali is with this THICK 6,5mm yet extremely soft stitchless strap and finally with the solid caseback.
  11. Thanks for the kind words.. I do love both watches very much. I received today from DSN a solid caseback and the cali is now even more perfect Vic I just saw the wristcheck. I have lost it the first time. Do you like vlydog's combo with the tan thread better than the dark brown?
  12. It is a hard job choosing which one to wear everyday.. And today with both having the same strap it makes it even more difficult. The 112 is... well the 112.. and the cali is the new guy in town Photos without flash and photos with flash
  13. This.. waiting for the solid caseback to finish it
  14. Glad you liked it A... Thick vintage historic straps really change the look of the Pams that come with those ugly super-thin OEM straps
  15. Yeap.. I love Jean Michel Jarre.. Seen him in Greece and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been.
  16. Well it was not bought for this purpose.. stipped the leather and throwed away the frame. Sacriledge? Maybe.. On the other hand please tell me who else would think of something like that? Am I the Lord of the Straps or what?
  17. I make them myself... from a Ferrari car seat I acquired some time ago.. PM me if you want one.
  18. I think it is impossible to see if there is a second sweep at the 9 since the fat hour hand goes over it and the quality of the photo is bad. The text could read 1950 because it is smaller than the text on the top which is probably the Luminor Panerai. Personally I believe that 99% it is Bonati's 127 used for the promotional photos and then he wore the 202 to the shooting. Anyway.. it really doesn't matter the first watch since he wore a 202/A in the movie anyway..
  19. I agree.. the watch in THIS photo looks like the PVD 127. Domed crystal and polished gold hands. The watch in THIS photo (and the one that made it to the movie) is almost definately a 202/A.. The yellow of the tritium, the fat numbers, definately PVD (with the characteristic Panerai greyish tint PVD) NO WAY ceramic, and probably no AR.
  20. Gen Ferrari has Single AR.. very subtle. My ferrari is the most accurate of all. The 002 has a date and the font is not exactly the same. Other than this it is ok. The 004 had some issues with the hands I think. Not so sure about this. The 014 had something with the angle of the carbon fiber I think...
  21. Yeap.. have some leather left Here it is my FER with the genuine Ferrari leather strap
  22. From what you said you want basically a genuine watch.. because if EVERYTHING is identical to the genuine even the movement then you are buying a genuine and not a rep. And although the watch companies have a HUGE profit on their watches.. You don't really expect to buy a 1:1 Seadweller exactly the same as the one Rolex sells for only 200$ do you? Because I also want WORLD PEACE but it ain't gonna happen. Keep in mind that even watch companies on their watches have on some of them flaws and small mistakes.. 1:1 means that a genuine watch has been dissembled and CNC'd not replicated from photos of the sites. And if the Chinese can do a perfect job and replicate every small detail like the Ferrari.. well good for them. But honestly they are not Swiss workers who are paid a big amount of money and if they do a mistake they can check and double check every detail.
  23. I would love to see this repped
  24. GOing to this back today:
