  1. Thaks Bro for the kind words....Yes the P301 pushers are the icing on the cake..definately bringing this build to a new level......
  2. you may want to remove that pic....or cover up your plate...
  3. Even though this build is outrageous in cost....I was still able to stay within my budget with room to spare...The search for the parts and the building process justifies the effort/cost....and i'm stil not finished...LOL!!! I have to say this build was easy enough. The only major mods that were done was the retapping of the case to accept the gen pushers and crown tube and the slight modding of the case and case lugs to accept the gen endlinks. The funny thing is that the case was brought within the Rolex +/- spec of tolerence for their parts for this particular Daytona 6263 case set.Which tells me that Phong's case is pretty much as close to gen as your gonna get in looks and dimensions....
  4. M, I was able to source a gen NOS Superdome T21......
  5. So i finally got a chance to post on my recent upgrades....The Zigmeister did a great job once again on this build......here are some pics of the Daytona with the P301 pushers and the 7020 tube and 702 crown upgrades. The next step will be the install of a Superdome T21 crystal, a new set of early production 571 endlinks and early production 78350 clasp.....I may install a 7835 bracelet with 371 endlinks or a 7835 with 357 endlinks; but i don't know if these two latter bracelets will fit.....enjoy the pics....especially Mikey..... Unscrewed.....I love this look!!! wrist shots!!!
  6. so the next question is....where do you get said PMWF insert???
  7. don't waste your money..just go with watchbiz..i have bought countless times from them and i have to say...i abuse my tools and i have not replaced anything yet.....the qaulity you will get will be double what you expected. These tools should last a log , long time.....
  8. It makes sense.........i've seen hands before for movements that needed to be broached.....not usually....but I have seen it...95% of the time i don't need to broach anything...like you said it's a friction fit....
  9. I've never had any issues with the TC hands fitting.....but like I said it's always a good idea to broach the hands if they are too tight so you don't damage anything.....
  10. So here is the question gang.....Does a genuine 16610 bezel ring fit a TC 16610 retaing ring??? Makes you want to go...hhhhmmm..
  11. It is always a good dea to broach the hands so that you don't damage the stem, movement or hand set for any watch build...The TC dial and hand sets will fit the 2824-2 ETA movements as is; but it's always a good idea to broach hands so no damge is done to the movement and hands....
  12. Now why exactly did you get one of these today???
  13. I have a couple of extra NOS 7020 tubes and one used one if anyone is interested??? Perfect for your Daytona 6263 6265 builds....
  14. i can do better..lol!!! but $250-$300.00 is the norm for North American market.
  15. M, and whom might that guy be.....LOL!!!I'm sure he'll chime in eventually...LOL!!!
  16. I thought I was finished with this build...but I'm not satisfied....LOL!!!
  17. don't forget the V3 SEL has the curvature of a gen SEL
  18. So here is another update.... I'll be changing out the existing gen crown/tube and pushers for these gen parts to make this build more accurate and period correct with "All the right parts" ......for those in the know....you will know what these parts are and how hard they are to come by, and NOS of course.....enjoy!!!
  19. thanks guys..i'm trying get ideas for Marlin to build me one of his super reps....
