  1. nothing that "Master Misiekped" can't fix...... . I had one just serviced with a bunch of upgrades. 1.) clark mainspring(gen) 2.)gen yoke for sliding pinion 3.)swiss date jumper 4.)aftermarket mechanism cover 5.)minute and cannon pinion set 6.) swiss setting wheels It now runs like a lot better with higher amplitude and should be very reliable and durable.....
  2. or.....misiekped can work his magic and rework the Yuki 3135 with a combination of gen and swiss parts to make it very reliable and durable....
  3. Yes...these are available from PHONG....nice replacement for gen. However , pitch may not be gen.

  6. @DBane.....come on brother...put a little more effort into it... give us some real critism here....I would like to know how well we know our watches.
  7. here is a nice one to tease everyone....rep or gen 16610..? Have fun.... ;)Let me know your thoughts on this one....and if it's real...from what era.....and is it correct for the era?...
  8. yes...matt is the man...however a gen would be perfect for the wifey. She will love you(in many ways) forever...
  9. A "sticky" white paper spacer is used when there is not enough clearance between the back of the dial and the DW/O.This is to allow the date mechanism to turn the DW properly without it striking the back of the dial surface. Due to many variables, including tolerences in the manufacturing of different parts, manual assembly and fit and finish....some kind of dial spacer makes it easier to provide adequate clearance.I have been using the spacers for years.....makes life a lot easier during assembly of all kinds of watches..
  10. I will give you the best advice. If you have the money on hand buy her a gen.If not......save...save ....save......and then buy her a gen.Period.......
  11. Hi gang, I am re-assembling a genuine Rolex submariner for a client and was genltly removing some dust, lint etc from the face of a Black 16610 Rolex Submariner dial using RODICO. The RODICO works great; but leaves a faint film on the dial.Any suggestion on what to use to remove the thin film/residue left behind by the RODICO without scratching the surface of the dial? thanks in advance! j

  13. "Correcttime" probably made an honest mistake. He is not out to cheat you.I have dealt with him several time.I have seen this mistake before many times where 16610,16600, and 14060 inserts can easily gen mixed up. Hopefully everything will be sorted out.... j
  14. Happy Birthday M, all the best in health and happiness...... j
  15. I can buy gens all day long for $4500.00 with papers.....you need to know the right people, wheel and deal and have cash ready,in hand.....
  16. $4,500 tops with no papers...must be authenticated at an AD and checked against AD database for stolen watches. As well, may need a service and refinishing depending on condition. If all checks out and it's been serviced/refinished..$4,500.00 is fair....receipts for service are essential. If it needs servicing...$4,000.00 is fair.
  17. date wheel is correct for gen Tudor Monte Carlo.
  18. He is "My little secret" as well........ .He does fabulous work. Please respect his talents... thank you.
