no tool is available....disassemble the pusher thread the tube on by hand and then tighten with a piece of cloth over the vertical threads.Do not overtighten..or squeeze hard. You will damage the threads...then assemble the pusher...or unscrew the pusher all the way until it stops in the open position....and thread the pusher on the case like you are using it as a screwdiver...do not overtighten!..you will break the pusher.
Yuki 3135 is very reliable, if serviced correctly. If reassembled with the right combination of swiss and gen parts it will be bulletproof and on par with a gen 3135..
Rolex did indeed authenticate that the "Mayer dial" daytonas were real...speculation is there because so few were made and by a 3rd party dial printer.Rolex does have complete records pretty far back.Do not kid yourself when you hear that thet kept poor records.Rolex knows exactly what they have produced over the years....so the argument that John M. has: if they were "FAKE", Rolex would have flagged his "Mayer dial" daytonas immediately...which they did not...
phong, yuki and DW are all different cases...made from different alloys and their percentages...
if you want to build an all out franken gen, then the only option is the Phong. It is +/- .2mm within gen spec... ...but then again..what the heck do I know about 6263/5 Daytonas...
Hey brother,
thank you for the wonderful transaction on this build...I am sure you will enjoy it! I belive the silver Panda dial along with the 7020 tube, 702 crown and the P301 pushers puts it over the top....a nice "superdome" tropic 21 would be the cherry on top of the icing...If you so desire one let me know and i'll put you in contact with my source...
thanks,
j
Thanks M,
will miss it..but it is in the new owner's hands now and he will be posting it on RWG soon....He's got the bragging rights now on the "Best of the Best"...LOL!
j
Just to let everyone know....my 6263/5 build has been sold and will be worn shortly by one of our other fellow RWG members....I am sure he will be posting all about in the near future...sad to see it go, but glad that it will stay in the RWG community. Thanks D..
The funds will be well spent on a wonderful 10 year anniversary for the wifey...

Here is another option for the 16613 band for those of you that can't find a decent 93253 Two-Tone band. Custom leather strap with 18K SEL....what do you guys think?
