fits TC case....some play in case...best bet is Sean's case or ST case....however tighten down the case screws hold down screws and there is no play...opening of TC case is a little bigger than gen case....

stem fell out because the keyless works is out of alignment....the keyless works will have to be unassembled and reassembled.the detent spring is not locking into place....it's an easy fix..but a little bit of work...ask me how I know......

The Zigmeister is retired from doing work on reps.....however..if you have a gen that needs servicing....and ONLY GEN...he just might help you out....

Hi folks...I don't want to hijack this thread...but for those of you guys really needing a gen 7020 tube...I will have several NOS tubes coming in the next few weeks.....for those of you that can't wait.phong has an aftermarket tube/crown set that are acceptable.However, the tubes/crowns have weak threads and are prone to wearing out prematurely.The base metal used is less than ideal.the tubes also braek in the cases if you try to torque them too tight.... j

3035 does not fit the TC case.....only 3135 fits.

yes...y series came with both flat 4 and pointy 4....how do I know?...I bought my gen Y series brand new in 2003 and it had a flat 4 insert....

a small test run was done..and all the pieces were sold off....I got one of them...so if anyone wants dial feet repositioned I could do it for them....I don't know if anymore will be made in the future...

TC is aware of the problem.....this happens even with gen crowns....sometimes we have faulty ones..no worries though...

The crown is to blame...the detent spring inside the crown is no good.Which does not allow the crown to engage properly when it pushes out...you need to replace the crown with a new one.....that should fix your problem 99 % of the time....

problem is with the crown......
