    Well, Spin contacted me privately.He assures that he is working on resolving the issue at hand as quickly as possible.He says that the problem has been with the DW case sets supplier....I hope he resolves this a.s.a.p. as there are a few of us waiting..some longer than myself.

    Helen Hunt is great in "The Sessions"...her body of 49 years is still in amazing shape....her face and hands unfortunately are showing their age.Does anyone know if she has had plastic surgery to her face????Her face looks a lot different nowadays...but that body really rocks.....I hope my wife still looks lke that at 49....

    I would have to ask The Zigmeister about what tap sizes he used..unless some else could chime in...I never did get a 100% answer from anyone during my build...

    Valty, i probably have about $13,500.00 USD into it right now...with the superdome, and period correct clasp and period correct endlinks i'll have $14,500.00 USD into it....or about 50% of the price of a gen....plus all my gen parts were NOS pieces....so if someone is willing to give me at least 90% of what I have into it, I would probably sell it..but so far I haven't had that type of offer....

    it's interesting to see several of us going pretty much all out and building these superfranken's..... .....i'm wondering if or how long i'll keep mine for...i've entertained afew offers on it but nothing has materialed as of yet....

    Well, I have had good dealings with him in the past...but my DW Spinmaster project never got off the ground because of poor communication from him and the fact that he still hasn't shipped my DW 6263 V72 case set I paid him for last year....I unsderstand i'm not the only one..and all i ask for now at this point is my money back .....or something else of equal value....and BETTER COMMUNICATION from SPINMASTER!!!!!!

    i have handled several phong cases for the daytona vintage builds..e.g. 6263 and 6265.The best cases I have seen have been for the later versions...late 70's early 80's thin cases.Each case I saw was a little different from the other....but specs/case dimensions were within the Rolex specs I had on hand.The biggest challanges of all the cases were the placement of the lug holes and the tapping for pushers....I removed a little material from the curvature of the case and my gen 571 endlinks fit perfectly.My gen pushers and gen tube did not fit the Phong case, so "The Zigmeister" retapped the case and installed the gen pushers and tube.Now i have a perfect 6265 build.The only parts that are not gen on my build are the Phong midcase and the 726 Valjoux movement...I woud pay the price for a Phong 6263 case set again...as with a lttle massaging the case will fit genuine parts all day long.

    my patience has run out...I have had good dealings with Spin before...to wait so long for a DW V72 case set and very little communication from him......what gives???? I have sent him a couple of more emails for either a refund or something else of equal value......and nada...no communication at all....again...what gives???

    Hi gang, I don't want to hijack this thread; but I am in the same situation along with another member and the original poster.I sent payment for a 6263 case set to spin back in may 2012...not much contact with him and i'm wonering why?......been waiting..... still waiting.....i hear crickets....

    no more..nada..only option for aftermarket is Phong....the phong does the job....best option is gen 7020 tubes= best fit.
