I'll chime in here.....i'll post more on the 18K electroplating once this project gets going....but first i'll need to experiment on some of the parts to see how the gold lays down, it's durability and longevity.....stay tuned as new and excitng things are coming from the TC Factory!!!!!

phong doesn't sell gen movements...he modifies them with a combination of gen/rep parts and engraves mainplates to mimic a gen movement. Gen 727's are hard to source.......and usually sell for $7-10000.00 Mint Sigma dials can sell for up to $5000.00 depending on condition and year.....

send more money...buy more TC parts...support the cause for the perfect sub..!!!!

Crown is no good.You will need a new crown. The tension spring inside the crown is shot.

best to give it a try and see....it probably will work out fine in my opinion....werenot putting a whole lot of thickness of gold on there.....

I've recently talked to TC about offering a 16613.I have a commercial grade gold plating machine i use in my lab. I am waiting on some parts from TC to experiment on.Hopefully we will have an option for those of us that want the parts for a 16613.I should be able to plate crowns,bezels ,bracelets etc with 18K gold ......
