What I like about this whole topic is that today with the internet you can pretty much source all the parts to build a superfraken or a gen from scratch for 30-35% of the value of a gen original.Some of the gens are out of the price range of most of us...but if you save up and buy your parts piece by piece you "roll" with the"big players" without paying the cost for it......the gen guys know this and don't like it....

Hi everyone, TC is really busy with his day job. A lot of travelling on his part to Asia and other places.He is slowly working his way through emails to the members of all the forums that have an interest in the TC SUB and it's evolution. He will respond to everyone's enquiries as soon as he has time too.Remember, he is NOT a dealer, just a member like the rest of us who has been able to source and bring us the TC SUB and WM9 product line. 722 movemnt is gen.There are some variations depending on year manufactured and parts replaced during servicing. The rest of the watch 100 % gen except for the dial.

If you want the best...your only option is gen; but you can build a pretty convincing superfranken for about 30-35% of the cost of a gen and never get called out.....

Here are a couple ofpics of the GEN pushers vs. DW pushers......gen is on the left.......pretty similar construction....eh? Unfortunately ...NOT interchangable in anyway....believe me I tried....LOL!

Case is off to The Ziegmiester to retap forthegen pushers/crown tubes.....The Zigmeister has all the right tools to do this.......

The DW's look very much like gen and have gen construction.They are probably pretty good for being waterproof.....i'll post pics of the DW construction vs. GEN.......Gen is on the left....correct @wiesn089.

So here are the pics of the DW pusher next to the gen.Can you tell which is which? As well some pics of the DW pushers installed on the phong case....nice don't you think? I tried to swap the gen tubes with the rep ones but the assemblies do not interchange......too bad. The only way to use gen pushers on the phong case is to retap the case with the correct tap, as gen pusher tubes have a different thread pitch with more threads than the phong case does... On another note the gen 571 endlinks and gen 78350 19 bracelet fit the phong case nicely with some very minor gentle massaging....enjoy the pics!

daytona case is crap.....

It's legit on the outside.....but what's on the inside? Dial and bezel are MK4....dial might be a service.....need to see the daytona text better and if singer on the backplate......to be sure. Possible could be 86-88 non service dial...

i'm definately down for one of these as well....5514 and 1680....
