I don't know how it goes but I received an email from Silix that a replacement has been sent. This time I got tracking number, registered air mail. AR coating appears very faint (looks like only single sided coated). Gotta go to an AD and check it out again.

The first one really strikes me. Love that Red/Black combo. However, it's still not a must buy for me because I already have SS version of this watch. Definitely worth considering though.

Well... bad news. Watch got missing in shipping. Silix is sending me a replacement. The gens appear to have no single sided coating.

Bezel on generation 1 rep won't fit second generation rep (vice versa). Tried that already with Chrono Avenger and Seawolf.

Genuine Breitling rubber strap... cheap and good. Cost below 70USD with buckle.

Just a little bit suggestion. The genuine datewheel doesn't come with completely full black numerical. It seems to be off black (a little bit like dark grey). Perhaps anyone could confirm this?

I don't see the correlation between not wearing watch = illiterate. However, I do appreciate if I'd have met someone who is a watch connoisseur and having a nice watch on his/her wrist, whatever the brand is.

I would not worry so much. You can do extra steps of cleaning once you have received the watch (hopefully it's waterproof). Rinse it with soap and water.

Well, it depends on your taste. If you like blue + orange go for 2007 version. I feel that 2006 version will suite more dressing style. 2007 looks more sporty, just my 2 cents. In any case, I am sticking to my 2006

Good food for thoughts... I would guess that there will be more innovation driven towards development of in house movement for established brand name. It's also highly possible that Sellita will continue to supply movement (it has different grading too, very much like ETA, i.e.: chronometer, etc..). Price increases in well known brand watches are inevitable... It's booming now but hasn't reach the peak yet. The Chinese will be under pressure to reduce pirated watches but it's pretty hard to say the way they handle infringement of copyrights at this moment. Possible Chinese branded watches too, specifically for domestic market.

Lug size is 21mm, it's the same measurement as IWC 3717 Pilot Chronograph. @kruzer: I will give it a try. It's gonna be a useful tip. Thanks a lot. Nonetheless, I would like to cross check with the genuine article. There is a possibility that double sided AR coating on genuine piece tones down the shine considerably.

Lume on the pearl is too greenish on the rep. Datefont is another dead giveaway of this replica, as previously mentioned. It's fixable. I gotta agree that this watch is really close to the genuine article.

I would agree with posting comparison of "published" price. Nothing wrong with that. For example: Pricegrabber does this price comparison. Some dealers are giving discount if you are his/her loyal customers. That's another factor that you've to consider. Nonetheless, I don't see why it's harmful to do a price comparison of retail prices from listed dealers here.

Well, just my 2 cents. Subdials aren't distracting at all, despite its silvery colour. It blends really nicely with the dial and provides good contrast with rose gold/white luminous hands. Double AR coated on the crystal will help to reduce "shininess" of the subdials, however it's not a must. I have not seen the genuine so can't really confirm how shiny the subdials are. It's a limited edition model and no longer exists on 2007 IWC catalogue. This model is replaced with St Exupery power reserve.

This is my first full gold replica watch, certainly not going to be the last. Build quality is SUPERB for the price. To its own, this watch is unique. Brown coloured dial with rose gold case. What an awesome combination. This is a reflection on how IWC replica should be made, very much blast from the past (IWC GST Ti). Crown tube and crown are much improved this time round. Case: 45mm inclusive crown. Rose gold plated. It looks even and represents real 18K rose gold colour. Movement: Asian 7750, Hi beat rate. As usual, non problematic. Fully wound, worn and gained about 5 secs for the last 12 hours. Datewheel and daywheel is incorrect for this model (wrong font) but it centers nicely. Crystal: Sapphire, single sided AR coated. Dial: Brown, decorated rose gold numerical with alphabet "A." on 6 o'clock subdial position. Silver subdials. Brown have subtle sunburst pattern (unlike matte like in PAM036). Hands: Luminous, Rose Gold. Straps: Replica standard straps -> do this watch injustice, should get a strap replacement. Buckle: Rose gold however wrong stamping at the back. Should not have Acier Inox stamped. Please take note that Crystal plastic protector and caseback plastic protector are still on. AR is definitely present Buckle is very well made. On par with SS counterpart on Ingenieur. Full watch face Caseback Crown Replica lume shot. Not bad for a replica. It lasts as good as C1 SuperLume. Last but not least, a mandatory wrist shot.
