  1. This version exists in genuine and featured on IWC Catalogue 2007 as well. Quality of rose gold coating on case is pretty good, maybe PVDed like recent Panerai Ferarri Rose Gold: pic here:
  2. Well, my 2 cents... none of the SMP reps come close to the genuine article. Save your dough on modding it and get a genuine preowned SMP. It's worth it:
  3. Movement is Asian 7750 Hi Beat Rate. Chronograph module is not present.
  4. www.fatyo.com
  5. Try cousinsuk. This watch is using ETA7750 (day date at 3 o clock) white text on black background day/date wheel.
  6. This one stays for the whole week: @dadog13: great choice for Thanksgiving
  7. short canon pin. I can't believe that it doesn't get pulled out.
  8. No problem at all. Well, the thickness of the hand after reluming doesn't necessarily change too.
  9. Why it becomes strange looking hands, Stephane? I have 2 PAMs relumed by The Zigmeister and the hands look really good. I have done myself reluming on hands and they look good too.
  10. Well, the SFSO has much smaller lume surface area as compared to Omega PO. I would still stick to Superluminova stuff for bright and lasting glows. When it has enough surface area (especially the C3) and properly charged, it can last the whole night.
  11. 12.5/1 is the same person AKA Paul M. Same address that I used to send the watch.
  12. Not forgetting that I got scammed by the same person too! I would even give the person who can teach him/her a lesson a watch.
  13. Try to navigate from http://www.replica-watch.info/ It has been up and running fine on my side. Check out your browser's autodirect settings too. Clearing your browser cache and cookies can help too.
  14. Just relumed my piece. Doesn't bother reluming the dial Maybe I will do it next time. I guess best version available is Silix's with AR. It's worth it but make sure no bracelet gap problem like on my piece.
  15. This is my piece quoted from the other forum. Did 2 mods on it. Hands relume and date day wheel swap. Full text here:
  16. Just got this watch this morning! Pretty happy with the whole watch. Screw on the bracelet is pretty poor in quality. Not that easy to resize the bracelet. Here is the pictures: As what I can see, AR seems to be double side but very thinly coated. Nothing like Hublot Big Bang but it's very effective to give the dial "pop out" effect.
  17. Thanks a lot. Yours looks very good too.
  18. Most likely from 60s. If you have bracelet which comes with this watch, would be nice to see it.
  19. You've found yourself a nice gem. Original caseback, original dial and I suspect movement too. Wear it in good health.
  20. @ockels: without any intention to offend you, yours is not 4th gen 42.5mm PO. Looks more like 2nd gen with wrong bracelet, wrong He valve placement. Anyway pz, here is mine:
  21. No problem with power reserve or GMT hands. It stays always in sync (no slipping hand problem as we encounter in some older modified ETA2836-2).
  22. This is my review on this watch. Feel free to add yours if you have this watch. Feel free to move it to correct section too. This would be one of my latest posts after my absent for many weeks. Well... It's a long story on how I got this watch. I have written this article more than 3 times but failed to publish it due to some unforseen circumstances. To cut the story short, I bought it during my China trip in Beijing about 2 months ago. This is the only model available on the store at time of purchase. Firstly, pardon me if related article has been written before, I haven't gotten enough time to catch up. I have been eyeing on this watch for quite some time. Before my trip to China, I told taiji (another Singapore based member) that this watch very much worth considering. Chopard is one of many watch brands that I am not really familiar with. I skipped the GTXL replica because I feel it's too big for my wrist. Nonetheless, I found that Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chrono 2005 has the right size for my wrist (42mm). There it goes! At the beginning, the design really strikes me. Stock pictures look good. I thought I've got to see it in person before buying it. Overall look of this watch: watch looks modest. It has the right size, not too big and not too small for me. Size of the dial is excellent too. Finishing of the replica is considered top notch. Lots of polished part on this watch. The inner side of the bracelet is heavily polished and the case too. It just shows "grandness" of a watch. Looking closely on another side of the watch: it comes with see thru caseback. It houses Asian 7750, fitted with extra GMT module. I have seen a few models with blue screws but mine comes with standard silver grey colour. A dead giveaway here (shape of Asian 7750 movement). Movement looks pretty standard. Rotor is nicely engraved though. Closer on dial: this replica has excellent dial printing, one of the best I must say. Printing looks bold enough, fitted with good luminuous material. A rare scene in replica world. Minute, Hour and GMT hands are luminous, standard replica luminosity but I have to admit that luminosity on replica has improved over time. Lume is C3 colour but glow can't match the real Tritec's stuff. What strikes me the most is; The time is easily readable. This watch wins Panerai GMT or Montblanc Timewalker GMT. The use of black colour GMT hand with white luminous tip blends really well with the dial. GMT hand won't confuse you, together with chrono subdial. I can recall a replica watch with chrono and GMT complications is Breitling Navitimer Chrono GMT. Still, Chopard's dial looks much cleaner and relatively more practical than Breitling Navi's dial. Moving on to the crystal: AR coating is single side. Still can't match genuine Chopard heavily AR coated crystal. Nonetheless, you can see bluish tint at certain angle and AR coating is pretty effective on this piece. Datefont is good but magnification might not be strong enough. Generally, this watch has been one my favourite replica watches. Build quality is excellent regardless of the flaw. My only complain is; second hand chrono counter is pretty jerky when chronograph function is activated. I am not sure it's a flaw on all the piece (this is my first rep with chrono and GMT complication). It's a bit heavy on my wrist too as I am really used to Titanium watches. Last but not least, a wristshot:
  23. Setting of GMT hand is similar to those of modified 7750 (it jumps). However, 1 thing I notice, chrono second hands looks a bit jerky when running (not as smooth as Asian 7750 without gmt function.).
  24. I believe crown spelling mistake doesn't exist in this replica. It's only on Mille Miglia GTXL non chrono.
  25. What do you mean by misspelling on the crown? It's written 1000 Miglia which I think is correct.
