  1. try the BOB sportivo in honey tan. looks killer on the 111h! very thick and good looking quality strap not much $$either
  2. i'm glad everyone likes it i had a few issues and i have to send this one out for a full service. i had an issue with the hour wheel not being held in. usually the dial holds it in but there is none! i got it worked out with a trimmed keyless cover from another 2892 i had. i pressed the seconds hand on too hard and the main shaft is too tight now and needs to be fixed. i'll have a full service done while i'm at it. this one's a keeper anyone good for the full service in cleveland or close by? in USA?
  3. in case you missed my earlier post about this project here's the idea. i had a really nice constallation solid gold TT case set so i decided to get a 2892 skeleton movement and build a custom watch. here's the goods whe movement.....swiss 2892 skeleton here is the results of the project well.......it was a much harder project than i expected.....i had to transplant a taller cannon pinion, shorten the stem, cut a movement spacer, shorten the hands base. reset the keyless works, make longer movement clamps, but it's done! super smooth seconds sweep like a gen rolex... ETA swiss 2892 skeleton movement. looks even better in person! not really a rep anymore! now a one off custom watch what do you think?
  4. #1 gen #2 rep #3 gen #4 rep #5 gen good job!
  5. 111h......i have a swiss swanneck 111h i don't wear much..who knows
  6. see if you can guess if these are modded reps or gens. test your knowledge!! #1 rep or gen? #2 rep or gen? #3 rep or gen? #4 rep or gen? #5 rep or gen?
  7. mill down the case a bit so the endlinks fit flush, do a very light polish, fill the bracelet links to eliminate the sloppiness and slack in the bracelet and make it feel and handle like the gen. i can do these mods if you are not comfortable....send me a PM.
  8. personally...while the cross bugs me....i dont think it's worth taking a chance on ruining the dial. the texture is very defined and i think the paint can be easily damaged. unless you can get a whole dial. be careful or don't bother. bracelet and endlink mods are the way to go on this one.
  9. looks great! gotta love that sandwich dial! pic shows what historic pams are all about
  10. all 3! i love this watch! if i can only have one watch.......would be this
  11. i'm so tempted to buy this gen....please do a 1:1 REP!!! save me the $$$$$$ please!
  12. there is a watches of switzerland in melbourne....i was in there a few years ago.
  13. just got this from yellowman (great guy) and threw on a sirtoli right away.....you should see this in person! looks absolutely sick! pics don't do anything for this one but check them out. can't take it off......
  14. the gold looks really good! it's 38mm. i just sold mine. here is some pics for you. stop thinking about it and researching......buy it! it's very good i wish gold looked right on me.......
  15. by the way......i'm keeping the blue dial.....all the rest going up for sale! pm me if interested. they will be in the sale section later.
  16. they have white gold screws. looks best with the yellow gold screws i think...but not as accurate. but then again only maybe 1 out of 5000 people have even heard of Audemars Piguet, let alone how thick the case is and what color gold the screws are.......i think you have a 1 in a million chance in being called out on a AP rep...unlike the 1 in 50 chance on a rolex (why i don't bother with rolex). think about it........
  17. i'm trying to choose a few reps to go so i can fund another omega.. cant decide
  18. here is my AP collection. gold one is sold...i will sell another but can't decide which one has to go... you would think it would have to be the "thick case" gold screw one...not as accurate as the rest...but it looks the best and seems to be the highest quality although not as accurate dimensions......hmmmmm.
  19. that looks like a "fun" mod! just rub it on concrete, sandpaper, steel wool and whatever else destructive you can find! looks cool! i think i'll make one too
