well......i bought my wife a platinum/diamond ring from tiffanys......$6600.....same ring with same diamonds in gold..cost $4200......think how much more gold cost than steel.....then platinum costs that much more than gold! try the math probably cost more than the watch for a platinum rotor!

balance spring....easier just to replace the movement i think.....but i can't find one.

seems the balance spring is broken....the heart stopped beating today does anyone know where to get a replacement asian 2892....not worth doing a swiss 2892 because of the cost. i think this is a seagull movement?? please help rescue a dead solid gold TT constallation.

don't apply too much lume....you can make it too thick to mount the second hand.....also be sure to let the dial dry for 48 hours before you reassemble the watch....i learned the hard way and melted the dial print and lume off the hands from the fumes trapped inside the watch! easy to do....just give it time to dry!.....also a razorblade is fine and works well.

does anyone have a source for a metal spacer ring for the swiss 212 to replace the plastic one? and also the "newer" engraved rotor?

the mineral crystal on this particular watch is superb.... because of the dome shape it looks like sapphire. personally i think a metal spacer ring for the movement may be the best upgrade IMHO.

i would buy these just to smash them with a sledge hammer! this is why people think reps are junk and gives them a bad name and they make me angry i want to smash them

the 4th gen PO bracelet is heavy but looks horrible! there is a HUGE gap between the endlinks and 1st links! compare the pictures with my gen. BTW the aqua terra rep bracelet is very good as with eddies bond smp i just got with pins! 4th gen PO gen PO rep aquaterra

well.....as this is your girlfriend and your not married yet......i'd go for the 140 if she can swing it yellow gold carbon dial. rare. flashy but simple and very high resale. you can sell it and buy maybe a 111, 177, and a 183........later

i have this on the way from eddielee........seriously.....do you think someone will notice the date font and dial marker size without seeing side by side with gen? maybe they will think the gen is fake LOL! good enough to fool just about anyone without side by side and a very sharp eye i think...

the newer asian 7750's i have are great!!! chronos work perfect and seconds sweep is super smooth. seem to be very powerful movements and half the price of "swiss" new bentley for example......amazing!!!
