FxrAndy Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 I think it will be this one tomorrow same as today, as i havedone a bit od work on it over the weekend, A bit of history of this, I won it on one of PTs raffles, then dropped it and it became my project watch, the dial got vintageised a bit and then becase of super glue (i did not know any better back then) fumes when gluing the new crystal in the hands got a bit fuxked, any way over the weekend i have Rebrushed the case Brushed the hands to give a grained finish to the hands serviced the movement reglued the crystal in with sternkreutz UV glue given the dial a matt coating brushed the shine off the crown And still with my 3rd ever home made strap I will be wearing this later in the week, pictured here on a kanu tour with my daughter and her friend along the Weser last week Later in the week will be back to a schuhren

Demsey Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Still: But I'm going back to the bracelet. It's 97F here with 90% humidity. The strap is getting gross. Are those Jack Purcell's Freddy? I didn't think anyone aside me wore them anymore. Not sure if you are familiar or care, they were Pagey's shoe of choice when the band gigged the Royal Albert Hall in 1970. Too funny. Why I retain this insignificant info.? I do not know.
freddy333 Posted August 10, 2009 Author Report Posted August 10, 2009 But I'm going back to the bracelet. It's 97F here with 90% humidity. The strap is getting gross. Good idea. I have never understood why people say straps are better in hot/humid weather. Yes & the reason they are still so popular is this guy

ammandel Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 So heres an idea.. since we have a new style section.. how about a whole OUTFIT check for the day! I'm having alot of trouble taking pics recently I seem to have lost any and all flare for taking sharp pictures, also it doesn't help that I find the GMT II the hardest watch to photograph ever.. Anyway I tried to give it a go! In picture Armani Exchange Black Fitted Jeans Grass green Lyle & Scott Polo GMT IIc 116710LN Anyone notice the co-ordination?
