I still think Marcos Mantis is unbeatable. It's so scary that I can barely watch this picture in the dark. It reminds me of those cheap ass "Ferraris" that people build over WW Beetle/Ford Taunus chassis. But this is even uglier. I wonder if the designer is still alive... I mean, it's pretty much impossible for a small manufacturer to NOT to go bankrupt after releasing something like this. Here in Vanden Plas version. Thats a classic! My mum had one of these in the early nineties. Actually a comfortable car. Nevertheless, the Austin Princess was British Leylands finest hour... I loved how Vanden Plas would just clean stuff up, add wood and leather and shove a Rolls grille on the front and call it classy. Superbly tacky.
