usmctowgnr Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Eurotimez now does have the silver open 6 and nine, flat top 3 date discs for eta 2824/2836. They are 20 bucks each. I ordered two of them and will post pics when I get them.
JoJo35 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Very nice, that's a huge step forward if they look good
jmb Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I think it will be really cool if Chris starts carrying goodies like this for those of us who enjoy tinkering! I know that they'll get you a lot of neat stuff if you ask about it but would be really neat to have an on-line modders parts catalog!

Nanuq Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Niiiiiiice! Wonder if these will fit an early MBW?
usmctowgnr Posted October 13, 2009 Author Report Posted October 13, 2009 Vlydog The do have pics. Go to Eurotimez88.com and after the xml screen loads click on "new watches 2009" then click on "mbk_rlx_1-1_DW" for the pics. Nanuq I hope they do as that is what I am planning on using it for.
freddy333 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I had alot of trouble getting Eurotimez xml screen to load & to save time, here is the pic of his dw (not the best quality picture, but the best I can do with what he posted)
tmg Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 So is it an overlay only or is the wheel underneath there? I'm challenged today -I can't find it on ET site!
freddy333 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I have never seen 1 in the flesh, but I believe it is printed on the same type of thin metalized substrate that comes glued on top of the ETA date wheel in MBWs. That is, you remove the existing thin metalized substrate (with the round 3 fonts) & glue this 1 in its place. This is not supposed to be the same thing as the Watchmeister overlay of a few years ago. If someone has 1 of Euro's dws on hand, please correct me if I am wrong.
alligoat Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I agree Freddy. Since it's an MBK, I don't see how it could be anything else. Now everyone will have an extra datewheel for a 3035/ETA project.
Tribal Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Yep can only agree, it's the same thin metal overlay like allways with flat top threes. I wonder about the siver color of this overlay. There will be be no sunburst design like on the gen ones. But it's a step forward. Hope to see this in flesh soon.
Star69 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 a lot of nice things happen lately in the vintage-Rolex-replica-world cheers, Frank
