chronos666 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 quantum of solace. Not sure what took me so long to catch this one. Anyone know what watch Felix Leiter is wearing in the bar when he meets Bond?
Jkay Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Breaking the Waves is a mind-blower. (speaking of Lars von Trier ((Antichrist)) ) Shawshank Redemption If you have a Blu-Ray player than Akira Kurasawa's films were remastered in HiDef a couple of years ago and they are beautiful .. go for Seven Samurai and Throne of Blood! Hidden Fortress is a sure bet, too. Goodfellas? The Transporter 1 or 3 but not 2 Snatch !! THE DEPARTED !!! Pulp Fiction Unbreakable Fist of Legend (jet li) The Usual Suspects The Untouchables True Romance Leon (The Professional)
arniezac Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I've been revisiting some oldies too, lately. School for Scoundrels Forbidden Planet Murder by Death Blues Brothers The Day the Earth Stood Still and finally... The 'Burbs. I have knicknames for all my neighbours and the slightly strange family has been known as the Klopeks for nearly 20 years now. The Riddler is a guy who is obsessed with removing stones from his soil. The Witch, annoying laugh. Mrs Tidy, who is compulsivley so . You get the picture, Heaven knows what the call me The best recent ones I've seen are Taken, with Liam Neeson. What a badass. Defiance with Daniel Craig. And a dodgy copy of District 9 which is kind of renting Excellent film.
chronos666 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I think it's a Hamilton Khaki X-wind Thanks. Was bothering me, that sounds right.

ken fingerlove Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay (If you saw the first, this is more of the same and pretty hilarous) Crank II - non stop never let up madness. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The best I saw this month was not new - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - haven't seen it since I saw it in the movies, and it is excellent..
Star69 Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 just saw Terminator Salvation - brain off - speakers on nice
