Guest Sql_pl
So they can make such markers! Great. Now put those markers on a carbon dial, plate the case with some gold and we get this: Cheers!

Highflyingclive
@Jimbo - where did you find this? I have considered getting one of the street-market reps, polishing off the crappy engraving and doing it properly... but this one looks to be better than anything I could achieve. But shouldn't it say "Purdy"... or is this a later re-issue? Edited August 29, 2006 by Highflyingclive

Finepics
Judging by the fact that it has an asian 7750 and that familiar style CG etc I would think that this is from the usual stable of makers - and no doubt we will see our dealers carry this one soon. I would stake my life on it!!

lovepanerai
There are so many beautifull PAM's out there and they are taking on this piece well I guess the term good looking is in the eye of the beholder - peace
ravishingrick
Just as ugly as the GEN... Like it or not is is a very convincing rep.. Having seen this, I believe we are living in the golden years of reps...

Having seen this, I believe we are living in the golden years of reps... Agreed - wether you like it or not it's pretty damn good even down to the miniature submarine on the dial!! They only made 300 of these so again a rare piece that you could never own the real thing.

Quarks
I'm with dadog13 but I would wear it though. Not for normal casual wear, that would look silly. This is a classy watch and quite underrated. I got to see the gen in BKK and it looks awesome. That little blackseal symbol on the dial looks wicked. The gen would set u back for USD$9.5K to $10K from what I have been observing. No way am I going to pay that much but I will get this rep for sure. I am bloody amazed by the quality reps we are getting. Holy shitzmo, my wallet is getting burnt. BIG TIME. Oh and this rep is SS and not Ti? archibald
That watch is proof positive of two things: CNC engravers are definitely among the world's greatest inventions. Flip-top lids on watches are definitely not. I'll take a 140, too, and as long as we're playing the "why didn't they put their CNC machines to work on this one" game" how about the pam 240 originally sold only at the Panerai Boutique in Firenze. Polynomial
...not enough the size and dial on PAMs screem 'pocket watch', but this thing...they could just as well put a chain instead of a strap
