Ohhhhhhhh yes! Very nice. I really like the stains at 11:00 and 2:00. If those aren't original and vintage stains from a life well lived, you did a masterful job of applying them. I had a gen with stains like that but crazy as it sounds, the only place on the dial that wasn't stained was directly beneath where the hours hand had sat while the damage occurred.

Thanks for the kind words,

it's nice to hear compliments from some of the people who have inspired me in this hobby (since I still feel rather new.)

:thumbsupsmileyanim:

Unfortunately, I do not have any great stories to tell about this watch, or a parts list, or rare parts.

I had seen this watch for sale in brand new form from a member on another board. It was squeaky clean and sparkling. It just didn't look right. :g:

I have almost an obsession with vintage things, I cannot explain. And for being 30 years old, it is quite odd to my friends. :pardon:

I saw potential in the watch, and it proved a great platform.

I think this is all I did to the watch.

filed the edges of the bracelet and case,

rebrushed the steel,

drilled the case for larger lug holes

Installed gen spring bars

Vintagized the dial and hands.

That's it, it was that easy!

Not many other people would appreciate this watch, so I am thankful to have this community.

warm regards,
