FxrAndy Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I just posted this on the back of a sales post but it made me think is there a situation where the Ingy would not be at home? and where have you used yours? Lets see some photos in situations, i think the only one where it would not be good is very deep under water or on a space suit I have used mine swimming, sailing, flying, fighting and drinking, it looks good with camouflage or jeans or an Armani suit (from Kemberg) in casino royal, it is unassuming but smart, sporty and classical, i think one of the best Gerald Genta designs ever whether in Bavaria The Czech republic Canada in the snow or the sun In the air On the Sea or under water The Ingy is perfect for any occasion!
mactower Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Nice when one piece from the collection gets a lot of wrist time.
ubiquitous Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I ended up giving mine to my brother-in-law; no in-situ shots for me, unfortunately, but I do agree that it is a very versatile watch! Goes great with everything and any occassion...
lanikai Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Forever one of the most versatile timepieces of any brand..an IWC classic at birth Always at home in front of any camera.. There's a palm tree and a girl in a thong behind the watch.. ya just can't see the view from here. at rest before going to the beach .. Ingy is often tired from all the questions.. and getting ready for a dinner engagement.. AC/Lani
paneristi_man Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Is there any Ingy with the correct datewheel from any of the dealers? Most I have seen shows incorrect datewheel to the gen. Thanks.
16234 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 None of I know of...and is there still any possible way to get a DW like Lello?
lhooq Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 There's a Canadian chap named hp_v6 who's just finished making some datewheel overlays for the Ingenieur. I've ordered a couple, but it may be some time before I can report back on them. For one thing, I don't own an Ingenieur yet!

permabull Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) Best dealer to get one? Is there just one version of rep around? Great posts and pics guys Edited February 22, 2010 by permabull
FxrAndy Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 As far as i know their is just the one version these days, the the dealer is the one that fits your needs best.
FxrAndy Posted December 17, 2010 Author Report Posted December 17, 2010 A bump and an update to this post with my handmade Jacob Rameries Strap
lhooq Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 Very nice, Andy. I love the Ingenieur bracelet, but that leather strap looks great and gives you a little versatility. There's a Canadian chap named hp_v6 who's just finished making some datewheel overlays for the Ingenieur. I've ordered a couple... Urgh. Don't remind me about that...
frankpower88 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 THat watch looks very nice. anyone 's got it with the white dial? would love to see pics of it.
LeSentier Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 I ordered mine in early september from PT Swiss for a Friend's birthday in October. In November it arrived totally scratched with a broken strap. Returned it to PT in November. after a long wait he replied that I will receive replacements. Now, on Dec 17th I got his out of office reply, and he will be back in January..... Is this the way to satisfy the customers?
