Tudor Subs can be easily found for $1K in good condition. Perhaps not this particular "Sugar hour marker" model though. That's a lovely watch indeed!!! Thanks for sharing this, great read! I am sure Rolex would be more than I was... As for the crystal, it's a plastic one, as for the model, I cant' remember as I no expert on these crystals. I ordered it from the case number and serial number of the watch... Thanks for the kind words, these projects are so much fun, and the satisfaction at the end of it all, to see the before and after, is well worth it... I'm sure you have one happy customer in your hands! I know I would be. Rlx would have probably swapped out the original dial and hands with whatever left over Tudor parts they had available. Now you get to fix the lume on my 6536 Sub too. That price of $1,000 is spot on. I paid that nearly ten years ago to have Rolex NYC do the same work to a 1680. A word of advice: NEVER tell a Rolex service center to "make it like new". They did, almost. Your work is better. Thanks for the confirmation on the price, so $1000 from Rolex is about right...I bet the turn time is probably not far off either...
