Admin Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Hey all Sorry for the short notice, but our datacentre informed us that they needed to move our servers to one of their other alternate locations, so this is the reason for the downtime these last 8-9 hours. Please let me know if you notice any speed changes, as we have changed from using apache webserver to litespeed, something that should make things load faster. If you discover anything that doesn't work, please let me know by posting in this thread.
Member X Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks for dealing with this! It was a bit sudden lol but if it speeds things up then that's good Seems a bit quicker so far so let's see how it goes!

HauteHippie Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Noticeable performance improvement. We're the fastest forum on the web by leaps and bounds now!!! Wow, I never knew Apache was such a dog.
freddy333 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 As others said - noticeably faster page loading. Nice move!

BNWMan Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Don't know if this just broke, but none of the photo's in Edge's guides in the Watch Repair forum are viewable (links are all dead)...
Admin Posted April 21, 2010 Author Report Posted April 21, 2010 Don't know if this just broke, but none of the photo's in Edge's guides in the Watch Repair forum are viewable (links are all dead)... I wll have to look into that *Writing it down on to-do list*
Ronin Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Just an FYI, "Marking New Posts as Read" goes to lala land. Blank page. Anyone else experiencing this?
BNWMan Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I wll have to look into that *Writing it down on to-do list* Well, I went back and read the "Broken Links" sticky in this forum, and found that the photos are all there, just at www.rwgforum.com instead of www.rwg.cc/member, like it says in the posting. So they've been broken since last summer I guess...
Admin Posted April 24, 2010 Author Report Posted April 24, 2010 Just an FYI, "Marking New Posts as Read" goes to lala land. Blank page. Anyone else experiencing this? Do you still have this problem?
Ronin Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 Do you still have this problem? Yep. On multiple machines. Latest, greatest Firefox. I managed to get it to work once correctly by clearing cookies, but the problem immediately returned.
Admin Posted April 24, 2010 Author Report Posted April 24, 2010 Aha...returns a white page for me. I'll add it to my to-do list.
