@F

Wonderful shots...

I'll be on Rainier next month...

Then Shasta in August...

Preppin' for a mission trip in October to Nepal...

Will cap out at 23k on that one...

A wee bit scary for a non-climber...

May not make it all the way, but I'm sure gonna give it all I have...

But I'm really looking forward to it...

Hey M...

Best time of the year to go up Mt. Rainier....IMHO!

Checked out the trail last weekend and it's still covered with snow past the parking lot! Hope you'll be blissed with some

nice weather on your day of the climb!

Envy you on that Nepal trip! All I could do is dream about it......and it's looking so far away now!

Good luck on your upcoming mountain climbing/hiking adventure! Bring back some nice shots! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

The trip is not so much about a climb...

Going with a group to bring aid to the leper's...

Really a sad deal in that part of the world...

The disease is completely preventable and curable...

And the culture & social stigma is for sure the worst...

Sure to be a life changing event for me...

Read about that problem on that part of the world.......

just add another dimension to your climb....I guess!

another inspiration for you to do and finish the climb! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Best of luck to you and your Team!

Very nice guys! PowerShot, the dust, is that the little spec towards the top right of the photos? Im assuming it can be cleaned? Do you carry a tripod around with you? How do you capture the effect of movement in the traffic with the car lights? Slow shutter speed?

Sorry, he's a dentist, not a doctor. He got away without a mark, here's what he had to say about it...

"Yep, that is me in the picture. Yep that is a whale that was just around the corner from the ferry terminal. "Paddle really fast" is the only thing I could think of at the time.. Also thinking that I don't look like a herring, don't smell like a herring but with the same herring instinct of "get the hell out of the way of that big mouth!!" Still living to tell yet another story..
