kingkitesurf Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 Dial faces in general have a transparent varnish on them to fix text etc. (at least that is my experience). Don't use any detergent to clean or you will loose printing. Just use a mild soap or just water. If the 'dirt' is under the varnish forget about cleaning. Good luck. I was using Tescos economy denture cleaning tablets (30p for 30!) and within 5 minutes, the dial was a thousand times better.
