Watchmeister
Thanks. I had totally forgotten about him and his 6263's. What is the movement in that watch?
kbh
I bought one from a forum member about a year and a half ago who bought it from another member. From the two bezels I have, I've assumed it's not a Yuki. How would one know if it was a EE? Is there something different about them.
gplracer
Here is a Ubi comparison: EE vs DW
kbh
Thanks gplracer. Best I can say from that is mine has the same case back as the one of the left. I still couldn't tell which was which from looking as Ubi didn't make clear which was which.
Ahky
Very very nice. One question. Can you please tell me if the pushers came with the package or if you bought them seperately? They seem to be spot on to the Gen. thanks.
gplracer
The one with the white dial is the EE. It has a deeper caseback.
tonyp1
Very very nice. One question. Can you please tell me if the pushers came with the package or if you bought them seperately? They seem to be spot on to the Gen. thanks. The pushers came with the watch. Its was suppose to come with a extra metal bezel but never did. Shortly after that the vendor disappeared. I remember the vendor having a very impressive web site showing the watch totally disassembled with high quality pics of all the parts.
tonyp1
Very nice! Do you wear it often? Ive never had it out in public, Mostly because I could never pull a watch like this off.. I'm too plain looking and my volvo doesn't fit the part lol
mLuMaN83
Wow. I love those...
gplracer
Remember most people have never seen one. Also, it does not look like a typical Rolex. It looks like an old watch. My friend likes it because it does not look like a sub which is very identifiable.
Guest Sql_pl
EEs were amazing! I had one, bought from our great member Watcher! Then sold to another member, dieselpower (?), wonder if he still owns it! Edited July 18, 2010 by Sql_pl
jr.101
sorry for the rather stupid question, are these still available? gr
dieselpower
Only just seen this thread. I was the happy owner of Sq-Pl's EE6263 until yesterday. A friend had admired the watch for some time and then he made me an offer I could not refuse, so it has now passed on to another 6263 fan. It is in good hands and he intends to put a V72 inside it to complete the picture.
Nanuq
What a nice thread for a Sunday. EE made some great stuff, and pretty much impossible to get. DW made vintage Daytonas slightly easier to come by, with slightly better subdial spacing. I've always liked the EE silver dial better than DW's. Thanks for the photos! flex
I was under the impression that the EE one will not accept a Vj 72. unless there are a different models I am not aware of.
