I received this yesterday and thought it hilarious. No source mentioned at present so please don't speculate in public as I will not confirm or deny. A replacement is on its way to me shortly with profuse apologies from the dealer concerned, I'll be able to confirm then that this was a one-off -

Really? I had a few of Gelenas inside my old crappy 21j Daytonas. They all had 24HR Daytona Winner casebacks.

Thats cool i would keep that for sure!!!

If not send it to me! I love things like that. I can see how a dealer would miss that when/if they do QC. Not his fault. QC is prob more concerned about date wheels, time keeping, bracelets falling off etc

I wonder what it would be worth if it was gen?

Can you imagine some bored Rolex worker slipping one clasp in upside down for the Rolex stamp, you know just for shits and giggles, but actually makes a priceless collectors item...

As Ken's said, if that was a gen item, it would be priceless :) As a rep item, it's still awesome for its uniqueness, that would definitely be a keeper for me :good:

I wouldn't have guessed someone had to feed these in the machine by hand with the correct side facing whatever way. I had that happen to a Breitling clasp. I was befuddled that this could happen, but then, I was not. :animal_rooster:
