TswissT Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 So I get this Kobold Seal in a trade... Having never really seen one in person, I found it to be a very nice watch. Big and chunky...Any did I mention VERY OVERPRICED at the retail side and very reasonable second hand. Anyway, here is what I originally got in a trade: Feeling a little bored with it...I decided to take it upon myself to turn this bad boy into something a little different, and something I haven't seen yet... (It seems Kobold had the same idea and made this very watch...I thought it was a 1 of a kind, but I was wrong) Anyway... Check out this DLC'd Kobold Seal on oem croc strap... SMOKIN!!!! (And Avitt did a fantastic job on this coating)
dluddy Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 The one they should have made. Beautiful transformation I almost like this one better than a SINN
TswissT Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 Thanks: I had the Sinn...I must say I like it better than the tegimented 757 I had. This has gone from the bottom of the watchbox to a frequent wearer.
hackR Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 meaty, beaty, big and bouncey... nice...congrats...R
krpster Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Looks amazing. Truly a great facelift. What's Pugwash doing on the case back?
Watchmeister Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Inspiring. I am loving it. I may just copy you. I recently completed a couple of PVD PAM's and am loving the dark body. This one looks much better in black.
OmegaPOFL Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 looks great!!!!!! so much better than the original imho
OSRep Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 WOW! Looks like a whole new watch now. Much better in DLC......
fishgodeep Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 Very cool chunk of a watch that you've improved upon for sure Avitt's DLC looks superb on that !! Thanks for sharing FGD
Ronin Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 Much improved! Damn, never realized how thick those were.
Panther917 Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Love the dlc, much much better look with the thickness of the watch. I had no idea they were that thick. Cool watch. Nice contrast on that strap too. Congrats.
chubbchubb Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Great result and certainly worth the effort.
