ubiquitous Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 That statement is true. The last fake watch I saw was on a cut out cardboard person. That watch, comprised of a photo which was also printed on cardboard was definitely not a real watch.
slickdick Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Its a phoney world, and yes i wear fake watches. Dont you love the shade of grey
Eton Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 This article makes me want to sell off all of my reps! NOT!
Ronin Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 +1 Ubi. So, by their logic-- I own a bunch of GENS and REPS, does that make me 50% fake?, or do I get a pass? Their numbers of "lost revenue" are never correct because, a rep sale never translates to a 1:1 ratio, as many would never buy the gen at their $$$$ prices. I still argue they are getting free advertising from the 'frugal' rep buyer.
Eton Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 When you think about it...a marketing campaign, yeah...that's going to deter people from purchasing reps. Just like graphic ads on cigarette packages.
btocamelo Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Does that plant back there look FAKE to you guys???????????? . . . . . . . . . . .
maxman Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Does that plant back there look FAKE to you guys???????????? . . . . . . . . . . . That reminds me fake watches are alot like fake boobs, they may not be the real thing but they shore is nice .Now come to daddy
pompe Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 well if i am not real why do i still have to pay so damn much tax ? we fake people should get the same tax cuts as other not real characters like santa, easter bunny and god
Broker1981 Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 I am somewhat scared by this article. I thought i was buying watches from Josh and Connie... Not Bin Laden and Mullah Krekar... Hmmm.... shouldn't the home of the rep watch industry be located in Saudia Arabia instead of China if that was the matter? Well, my watches may be fake, i might well be fake, but my disagreement with and resentment of this article is true! That has to count for something...
plaifender Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Last time I checked I was a real person... or are they saying people that wear fake watches are still in the matrix..... Oh crap.. I'm in the matrix!!! Where's morpheus!??
lhooq Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I just wanted to enjoy my new PAM and drink my beer, but this press release really [censored] me off.
txcollector Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 It's funny how they use all kinds of numbers to justify their position. They cluster all the counterfeit numbers to make the watch part seem important. Also they claim the factories employ child labor, fund terrorism but most manufacturers (specially the Swatch group) use the same labor in Asia for a number of parts (cases, dials, crystals, straps, clasps, etc.). I have an idea: reduce the price!!! When they mark up their costs by 500% many only have the alternative to buy reps. Besides I've seen a lot of people (myself included) that started with the rep and ended up with the gen. Nothing new with this campaign. Just the same old rhetoric.
txcollector Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I just wanted to enjoy my new PAM and drink my beer, but this press release really [censored] me off. this is disturbing in so many ways
upland Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Last time I checked I was a real person... or are they saying people that wear fake watches are still in the matrix..... Oh crap.. I'm in the matrix!!! Where's morpheus!?? It's always good idea to take two pills, not one.
ubiquitous Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 this is disturbing in so many ways Disturbing indeed!
upland Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Nothing new with this campaign. Just the same old rhetoric. I believe there is some new trend "wearing a fake luxury watch is empty of meaning"
txcollector Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I believe there is some new trend "wearing a fake luxury watch is empty of meaning" in comparison with the "deep" meaning of wearing an overpriced watch
Ronin Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Disturbing indeed! Yikes LOOQ, is that a male "Real Doll" ?
