My new Daytona 2009

Hi,

I just received my latest Daytona. Because of my bad english I don't like to write a long review. The watch looks great and has perfect weight.

It has an Asia 7750 Valjoux Working Chronograph movement

Grey Dial,

I think these ones are quite nice. Keep us posted on your experience over time with the movement as it's the seconds-at-six movement modification...a necessary evil for these watches. Nice picture taking...and thanks for posting.

I have this same watch and it is a beauty. Very Classy. the original is white gold but other than that It's a very attracftive watch. Mine has been operating regularly for two years with no issues so far. wear it well, you're gonna really enjoy it.

I think your pictures are quite excellent actually! And I love that Daytona. My favorite one by far. I got an opportunity to try on the gen at the Rolex store at the Wynn Las Vegas and it is a beautiful watch! :D

Love that dial, unfortunately the gen is white gold...

There was a post on one of the Rolex Forums lately, and someone had their AD change a regular dial for this one in a SS model. So it can be done.

I have a friend who is trying to save himself 10k by persuading another dealer to do the same :)

This is done regularly, usually these dials go for 1-1,5k. I don't think it's too difficult to find someone willing to swap a dial for that amount. In the end ADs are in this game to make some money, when you pay them they are usually pretty accommodating.

Great buy, I have a few daytonas running for a year now.... Even if they were to breakdown,

I'll just repair them and good for a few years or so... Nice shots too'

Crownguard looks good too!
