Man, those are beautiful! I've owned quite a few genuines and IMOP they are the best value, or use to be the best value, in a fine watch. The Monte Carlo is the ultimate version. I've got to build myself one eventually.

Well....my movement clips arrived and they didn't work. But, what's worst is that my 7734 decided to die on me.

So, I think I'm going to give up on this project and pass along these frustrations to somebody else.

I will be selling my DW 7032 kit (case, dial, hands) and non-working 7734 (45 min totalizer) over on that other RWG site.

My nick there is "Speedzmaster." You can PM me there. I'll be posting the FS probably on Sunday.

This project is far too costly!

I managed to get the 7734 working again. Still frustrated with the movement clips issue. I'll try one more thing and if it fails, then I'm done with this project.

Perhaps somebody knows of a rep-friendly watch repair person in the Toronto, Canada area?
