AlexanderN Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 If i can't see laser engraving in crystal, that mean, it is original crystal?
mastersdom Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Was instantly obvious to me as I'm a lume-freak but do I like it? Yep - my second one is on its way. If you ever want to change the bezel insert do not under any circumstances try to remove the bezel even with a genuine tool. Would rather not say why As for timekeeping ... pretty much the same as the real thing. Just waiting for a testing machine to arrive and then I'll let you know how safe it is for swimming
rolexrob Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 hi just received my 116610 from BK and i had him test it...easily passd 3 ATM 1
imajedi Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 Is there anyway to change the crystal on one of these factory reps? I know the bezels don't come off but wondered if the crystal could be changed by taking the movement out? I have a gen spec cyclops AR'd xtal that I want to use.
Gngn Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 The BigCrown crystal fits the ceramic noob mariner case. As the rep isn't gen construction, I'm not sure on the gen x-tal fit here. The latter works well for the 16610 subs (with gen construction), but for the ceramics?? 1
imajedi Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Yeah, but if you can't get the bezel off how do you get the crystal out? Through the back?
Americano Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) One of the things that a genuine distingen, the distance is the width of the arms of the warch. It should be clear that these are the same as the distance between markers on the dial. Edited October 4, 2012 by Americano
cousin_hub Posted October 8, 2012 Report Posted October 8, 2012 Hi what do you think of this new version ? http://www.1-pc8838.com/rlss00108-116600-submariner-p-12783.html
ilovethiscity Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 it's really useful to see them together thanks for the pics!
jmolina714 Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 I'm interested in buying one... Is puretime.co a good site to make a purchase??
hansmeier Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Puretime is a TD here, so no worries! Just look around at the dealers section, read the reviews and compare the watches from different TD. There are many threads about, so just step in, read a lot and you will find much valuable information here... 1
waterloosmith Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 I have the same rep which im hoping to sell on here, it really shows how far rep watches have come the days have gone when its a cheap bit of rubbish from a looky looky man, these days reps are great alternatives to gen watches that cost thousands of pounds and have the same look and feel i do like my submariner but like my deepsea its just to big for me so has to go and will be listed on here very soon.
tester1 Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Just put in an order for its no-date brother. Fingers crossed!
speedy1969 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Excellent choice, Tester! I'm looking to get a date 116610 myself! Andrews looks nothing short of AMAZING!
danny_partner Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Its look really nice. I bought a rep one but some of the parts need to be rework. Just started to look for available parts.

MyNameIsPeterAndImOld Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 I just received my Ceramic Submariner, but the bezel insert is cracked. How difficult is it to replace that part? Can I just pop off the bezel assembly as on the old Submariner models and replace it? 1
MyNameIsPeterAndImOld Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 Thank you. It was kind of a hassle to get this watch delivered to me and I already had to return it once, so I really don't want to replace the whole watch, now that the rest of it seems to be just fine. I read about the bezel assembly not being removable just a few pages ago, which is why I am asking. This is the new BK Submariner. If you say that the bezel is replaceable, I'll just ask the seller of this watch if he can source the parts.
