cougaree Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 No one seems receiving theirs yet, but if it's that good (as good as the dealer says it is), I think we should call it POU So UPO is for the 45mm one and POU is for the 42mm one. What do you think?
Rolexman Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 So you want to coin the name 'POU'... cool Will be receiving mine in a couple of days and will do a full review asap.
cougaree Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 Sweet! Can't wait! Thanks! I'm interested to see how well the pearl is.
FxrAndy Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 That could be dangerous the POU o ands u are close togehter, i can see it now, Wearing my new POO
Furu Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Why not µPO (micro-PO) Real men wear 45.5
Star69 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 UPO light - already taken or sheUPO as it is a girls watch anyway cheers, Frank
Rolexman Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 What about the Planet Ocean Bond? As Bond wears the 42mm version in the movies.... so I think. The POB
Furu Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Why not 42UPO and 45UPO? That would cause confusion for all new members reading old threads - no backward compatibility. I still like uPO/µPO and UPO, with a BIG U for a BIG watch, and a smaller u/µ for the smaller watch...
plaifender Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 since the last version of this watch was the PO V4.. seems like a natural progression to use PO V5 for this model.. no?
danza1812 Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Or 'new 42mm PO' as that's what everybody knows it as already!
Utheman Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 since it's close to being perfect...... the POtential
magagne Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 since the last version of this watch was the PO V4.. seems like a natural progression to use PO V5 for this model.. no? +1 too, I prone the KISS concept ("Keep it simple stupid" or "keep it short and simple" or "keep it simple and straightforward").
magagne Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Why not µPO (micro-PO) Real men wear 45.5 I will not tell you what U-Boat owner thing about your "small" UPO
mastrmindalliance Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I like POV as above (PO five). Or perhaps GPO (for girls PO)
Furu Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I will not tell you what U-Boat owner thing about your "small" UPO The U-Boat is just overcompensating
Jkay Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 i came in to say V = 5 so POV .... but I see that someone else already thought it up. that's my vote.
Mickey Padge Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Keep it simple uPO =42mm UPO =45mm Seems to be the best bet
plaifender Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Keep it simple uPO =42mm UPO =45mm Seems to be the best bet don't like the whole uPO vs. UPO often times I simply don't use capital letters to name watches.. PO v5 seems clear to me.... no one else is with me?
plaifender Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 POV5!!!!!!! can i copyright it if it becomes common use!????
Mickey Padge Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 POV to me means "point of view", but I understand your POV
ChipSlap Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 42mm = UPito ?? And Daniel Craig wore the 45.5mm
