chefcook
Looks like a very good replication IMO: http://www.1-pc8838.com/br03ta01002-br03-type-aviation-ssru-black-swiss-p-9568.html If it just wasn't that expensive... Maybe we see a good Breitling Aerospace in future as it uses the same movement afaik.
maxman
It does look like a very well done replication, but at almost six hundred bones It's way overpriced Imo. The same movement can be found In a $25.00 g shock (antidigital) ana-digi. I guess that having the "pamflect and papers" justifies the price
jared1126
Yea i agree, I would love to see a breitling airwolf raven, or something along those lines. This is a good sign, but wayyy to much money . Also, what does Josh mean buy swiss quartz and japanese quartz? is he saying that the watch has swiss and japanese in one? I am pretty sure the original does not have a japanese movement (haha) even though it says "specs as per genuine". maybe there is a less expensive model with a japanese movement or something? one thing is certain, I cant wait to see more high end digital reps and I would MOST DEF buy a breitling if it was an accurate rep. seymur
Previus BR03 cheap versions were not even closer to gen digital quartz movement specs... For this one I am still unsure about quartz movement how far specs are close to get however I would like to see someone review or video.. BUT price is way overpriced.. Those BR box sells for 70-80$ on Ioffer and it doesnt give reason to make total cost 600 bucks... gezzz Edited December 16, 2010 by seymur
mactower
You can buy the gen (used) for around $2000 US.
maxman
What I think PC means is that the japanese movement has the same functions as the gen Swiss movement, duel timezone, date, day, stopwatch, etc. I really cant understand the high price
redwatch
I know it's the same as the gen, but why do the bezel numbers go in the reverse direction to standard? ie: counter-clockwise? It looks really good though!
seymur
Same as gen? You u mean watch dig screen , font and everything rest is same? Anyways hard to tell something if there new review or video comparing I know it's the same as the gen, but why do the bezel numbers go in the reverse direction to standard? ie: counter-clockwise? straight_six
With all these watermarks from Josh you can't see a whole lot, but digital display fonts look to be completely off. I don't know about functions though
StormTooper4
I really like these dual timer quartz's The Emergency Breitling is similar , but that price is silly regardless of the box it come s in, those Gucci LCD's were like under 200bucks, so should this the fonts dont seem that bad? or is it my old easily pleased eyes Or actually they look pretty shabby compared to the gen 's

chefcook
Joshua just informed me that unfortunately the box set is not 1:1 per gen as it does not have the second layer that contains tools and a second strap...
seymur
Not Surprize.. At least BR 01-93 box has second layer and I found complete full box all details like addtional strap etc.. Joshua just informed me that unfortunately the box set is not 1:1 per gen as it does not have the second layer that contains tools and a second strap... mastergod
With its digital functions it would be a highly practical beater, and the countdown bezel is extremely useful in everyday use IMO. Countdown answers "How many minutes until I promised I'd be back from the pub..." whereas elapsed time bezels merely answer "How long its been since I came to the pub.." So hopefully a cheaper model will be offered As many will know, Watcheden has one at $150. Digi looks very wrong, but probably works. However its got "needle-pushers" rather than crown-control, so you need to "prepare" to use it by getting hold of a pointy object/pen and then fiddle with both hands to use it... Watchedens version Gen (what a nice piece of kit that is): Definitely the fashion-watch I've considered the most to get gen in 2010 .02$ mg
redwatch
Definitely the fashion-watch I've considered the most to get gen in 2010 .02$ mg Agreed mg. I LOVE this watch Definitely considering picking one up, but waiting to see some member reviews before hand. It's a little pricey to be the guinea pig for me

StormTooper4
Here's my gen pvd. is it broken? where has the digital gone? So how exactly do you get the digital to work? what do you press
jared1126
idk how to turn it on and off, but i believe on the gen the digital display is controlled by turning the crown.
Virgil Hilts
nah. just a crappy shot. but you do control all the functions via the crown. I busted a screw in the lug pin and haven't worn it for a few months. My gen 1675's been getting most of my wrist love lately.
eunomians
Apparently there is no rep PVD version in the works, only the steel version that's being offered now.
jared1126
when can we see some digital breitlings such as the air wolf or the b1. At this point these dont seem that far fetched, and i know that cheap and low quality models exist , but I would love to see a high grade model of this in the 200-300 dollar range. PolonusTM
There is an obvious tell on this B&R rep - it is missing cannon pin cap like GEN has...
