omegaunit Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Unreal... There has to be a way to track this guy. Maybe the 7 guys that got scamed should compare phone numbers used to contact the seller, with any luck maybe a home phone was used at one point.

I think and correct me if I am wrong that his fall under mail fraud. If they catch him soon enough, they may just find your cash with him too.

plaifender Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 did this guy's ass get kicked yet??? hate scammers!
dvn Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Posted March 16, 2011 I don't think so. I think he got away with it too. I am mad but I could not do anything about it. My bank could not get the money back for me neither. I heard one of the victim Is a vp of bank and he could not do anything about it.
mastrmindalliance Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Well, if you can't get your money back perhaps it's time to take an pound of flesh? Good luck!
KB Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 First thing I would have done is get together with the other 6 guys that got scammed. $1800 is nasty but maybe not enough to get serious action from the law but $12,600 is serious crime. If nothing else 7 guys (each with a couple of friends) knocking on your front door is going to cause a serious rethink in his get rich quick scheme. ken
plaifender Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 I hate to hear stories like this!!! This dude swindled 12,000 bucks!!!

turnipz Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) Ya it sucks when you pay money and dont receive anything, or when you receive something crappy not as pictured, which may as well be the same thing in my book. I'm sorry for you guys. Hope you can at least do something about it. Edited March 19, 2011 by turnipz
