sempire Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 As I look for interesting watches for my collection every so often I come across interesting gens under $500. Anyone have any cheap fave gens to share?
krustybrand Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 Gens I've paid under $1k for include: Oris Miles Tonneau Oris Titan 300M Oris Chronoris Omega Speedmaster MKII Glycine Incursore 200m Ball Fireman 1 Omega Chrono 300M Omega Automatic Some were well under the $1k mark, and 4 were under $500. Pretty much any of the 2nd tier brands can be had cheaply used if you look around and are willing to wait.
Ztech Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 For gens under $500 I'd say anything Seiko. Or I should say "most" anything Seiko. There are some higher end Seiko's out there.
calatrava Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) My favorite gens for under $500 are: Seiko SARB035 Tissot Le Locle Orient 60th Anniversary Watch Seagull 1963 Chronograph Edited August 30, 2011 by calatrava

tomhorn Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) My Accutron chronograph is one of the best buys I have made in that category. Granted it was on sale, but at less than $300 it was a steal. Edited August 30, 2011 by tomhorn

cornerstone Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 @cornerstone.Thats funny,I never knew you liked the Jungle Master http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/28137-seiko-jungle-master/ It's a great watch Beyond all the rep fun and games, when it comes to boats / swimming / beach that's the watch I take with me still. That Accutron chronograph above was a STEAL. What a buy.
