lhooq Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 I could be mistaken, but I think I was the first non-Singaporean with one of these! It's been around the world, and was alarmingly dropped in Bologna. It's been out of rotation recently due to movement woes, and other issues: 1
siesta181 Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Me thinks Ubi built a pre DW 7032... But then again, it's Ubi, nothing surprising there
vlydog Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Love this photo M! It's Mandarin Oriental meets freddy.
lhooq Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Me thinks Ubi built a pre DW 7032... But then again, it's Ubi, nothing surprising there Sorry, I meant DW Monte Carlos! There were a bunch of guys (Ubi, Lanikai, polexpete, Ray T, among others) with 7032s from Phong and other sources. These chronographs were rarer than V72 Daytonas, and super expensive back then. B: Thanks! That shot was actually taken in Singapore, not long after I'd met up with siesta181 and coolfire. And it all comes full circle.
TeeJay Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Here's my humble collection (yes, that is JMB's Quartzie) and the first time of posting a pic of my watchbox Fine pieces, amigos 1
