wimpie007 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 I bought a code yellow case without hands and this is what it turned out to be a Fantasy Breitling Something ;-) This watch was doomed cause: Code yellow hands unavailable Watch was/isnt keeping good time Has tiny scratches on the AR ;-( Tube of chrono hand broke Parts: Code Yellow Case+Dial Tachyring of a regular Skyland (white numerals) Chrono hands of a regular Skyland(white) Regular Skyland hands(white) Large Chrono of a Super Avenger (Thanks a lot Ocram!) Bracelet from a Seawolf I Brushed the top of the case what a [censored] to do and needs some more work Pics:

redwatch Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Not being a Breitling expert, what does the code yellow look like? Would love to see a before and after comparison. That being said, that is a pretty nice looking watch you've built there!!!

Rolexman Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Hmmm .. a weird creature you have there. Good job on fixing it though
Jkay Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 I think 99.5% of people will never notice the hands issue. You have done very well and made a total loss watch into a daily wear piece.
redwatch Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Thanks: Code yellow Very cool!!!! Nice job!

hackR Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 @Ray...looks great...creative use of parts to make a sharp looking watch... i completely brushed one of my v2 skylands (case and bracelet) and the look is so much less blingy, but still sporty...i still have blingy breitlings - but don't need a squad of them... well done and wear it well... fyi - found that the rehaut on the code yellow is so faintly yellow, that its tough to see anyways... stay tuned for a future set of pix...i just transplated my "swiss made" code yellow into a v2 case...added a gen DP stray/buckle...it works well...so much better...
