om3ga_guy Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Here are a few crappy pics of my newly acquired 16710. The seller listed it as a 21j but it actually ended up having a decorated eta 2836 I've removed the bracelet, it felt like tin foil (next to my TC V3) and installed a NATO temporarily. I will be putting up some updated photos in the next few days. -BK dw overlay -Modded/reshaped crown guards -Gen crown + tube -2mm gen spec spring bars *soon to have a like new gen insert, installing it this week... Some might argue this is too much "Pepsi" but I'm also installing a new French themed nylon strap. I saw a gen on TRF with this combo and it looked fantastic. relaxman Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 Just bumping up this fabulous thread and to announce I've begun my 1675 build . I just wanted shout out to Zeleni for all your personal help and to all others to whom have posted in this thread. I never really knew how exciting it could be to scour the net for parts.
the_rymeister Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 That's the best part of building a watch or franken, the searching for parts
DA2EASY Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 Just put this together. Clark crystal/bezel, drilled the lugs & reshaped the crown guards (a first for me) Waiting for a fold link bracelet and 2mm spring bars :-)
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 Very nice DA, respect to members that do there own mods and when they are good like this!!! Welcome to the 1675 club
