Thanks Mines the hacking movement used in the later subs, I believe the movements were often still stamped 1570. Might be wrong though. You need to speak to JMB who resides on your side of the pond re- Installing the He Valve into a non drilled case. Cheers DH
dbutlerman Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 Congrats! Nice build! Nothing beats the Gen Insides (Movement, Dial, Hands)! Don't worry about the Case and Bracelet being a year apart. My Tudor 79090 Case and Bracelet are the same way. '93 Case and '94 Bracelet. Totally normal! Congrats and enjoy your watch!
grifter Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 WOW!! What else can be said? Tremendous build man, congrats!
Jkay Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 I don't know how I missed this great pictorial and story yesterday. Looks great! Congratulations on your beautiful watch.
tutima Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Glad to see my old 1665 turned into such a nice piece...I'd never have the resource and expertise to dare venture into this level of franken build... Congrats and enjoy...
