Akira Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Will he pay back the members who are still out of pocket because of him?
chiman12 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Hopefully he'll have the 16520 case completed that has been in the works for longest time! 1
Rolexaddict Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Will he pay back the members who are still out of pocket because of him? because of himself, or because of the guy who has launched a website called DW ? Edited June 12, 2012 by Rolexaddict
dingleberry Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 because of himself, or because of the guy who has launched a website called DW ? several members are out money and watches owed by the original DW
woof* Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I really want a Monte Carlo, but I won't do business with him until he pays M back.
Akira Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) I really want a Monte Carlo, but I won't do business with him until he pays M back. I know for a fact that M never dealt with anyone else but the original DW Edited June 12, 2012 by Akira
rek001 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 OK, so...rolexaddict, are you telling us that there's some new guy who will be selling watches similar to David Wong's? It's a bit unclear.
woof* Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Maybe ra doesn't know about the dw history here. It would be fine by me if all this was resolved. Way back when...I kept putting off ordering until it was too late.

montrealer08 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Did I talk about watches ? I wrote vintage dayto parts, case sets, movements, I didn't talk about watches, Why the cryptic answers ? What is this post about ? A new guy or site coincidently called DW selling daytona parts etc... Or the same David Wong guy that used to sell parts and watches making a come back ? Edited June 12, 2012 by montrealer08
highoeyazmuhudee Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 thought he was out of the game for good
Ephry73 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Steve still owes me some parts from My original purchase in September of last year. David was a big help with that. E
lhooq Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I sent an email to DW earlier today to inquire about the status of my refund and missing parts. I'll let you all know if he responds. As noted above, I have only ever dealt with the original DW ("Ur-DW"?). I have never ordered anything through Steve (aka DW-Admin) or through the website.
GBOGH Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 This video comes up when you visit his old online store URL.
Rolexaddict Posted June 13, 2012 Author Report Posted June 13, 2012 Hahahaha ! nice video, I hope for the FBI they have other more juicy things to investigate than a few scammed rep watch forums members, and the clever guy who built this DW website and who disappeared like a smart fart after the Vietnam, Irak, Afghanistan, now we have the DW secret war
praetor Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) ya, thinking about it, i kinda regret buying the case set which is now still sitting in a corner untouched (not till the next couple of years at least) Edited June 14, 2012 by praetor
Dizzy Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Ive ordered lots of parts from the original DW david wong, and never had any problems. I have never heard of anyone named "steve" working with him. I do remember someone else opening a similar website to his but it wasnt DW.
Rolexaddict Posted June 15, 2012 Author Report Posted June 15, 2012 Th Ive ordered lots of parts from the original DW david wong, and never had any problems. I have never heard of anyone named "steve" working with him. I do remember someone else opening a similar website to his but it wasnt DW. Yes, that was I told a lot of time, Same for me, i have ordered more than 50 case sets, dials, hands, movements, got all my stuff in time, never experienced any problem, suddenly, this website appeared with Steve the Messiah, the Guide, lot of exitation, then slowly David started to get troubles and an empty EBay store... this was not so "lol" strange, the Steve started to cry about his private life and family health problems... pathetic... This website and this clown named Steve was a big scamm, may be this guy is hunted now and some Chinese mafia want to put a bullet in his [censored] head
Original Scope Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 +1000. Steve was a crook, but David did finally come through for me.
