mt666tm Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 It's the closest I have to a Tudor... Gen 16610, and I just installed a rep glidelock clasp to try it out
HauteHippie Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) As good as the WM9/TC/Whatever 16610 subs have become, it's amazing how quick and immediate you can still spot a gen in the pics. I like the exhibition case back also. Hows the glide lock? I hear it's a huge improvement. I'm starting to like the new ceramic subs a bit. I don't feel right about admitting it though.... danza1812 Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 TC sub, gen dial, insert and crystal, v3 bracelet.
mt666tm Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Hows the glide lock? I hear it's a huge improvement. I love it! .. a very nice improvement. Makes it very easy to change the size in small increments without taking off the watch and popping out the springbar. It makes the old clasp feel inferior, even though it has stood the test of time these many years. I was going to use this as a test to see if I want to hunt down a gen glide lock, but the quality of the rep clasp seems fine. I wouldn't mind to try the DSSD version glide lock as it's even more intricately designed, but it's probably unnecessary as this does the job nicely
lhooq Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Bah! I was wearing a Tudor yesterday! Where were you then?! That old 6239 for today:
